"The hero that wielded the sword of evil's bane, and the princess that held the sealing power, defeated Ganon alongside the four Champions that piloted Vah Ruta, Vah Medoh, Vah Naboris, and Vah Rudania. With their undying courage, strength and determination, Hyrule was once again safe and at peace." The book was closed and set down, and Rhoam smiled as he looked at it from the other side of the small room, leaning back in his seat.

"A loved story across the kingdom." He said, reaching for it. It was handed to him, and he opened it again and read through the pages. "The Legend of Calamity Ganon has been passed down for many generations."

"And I'm starting to believe it isn't just a legend." The princess leaned her head against her fist, sighing as she watched her fiancé flip through the old pages. "I've been hearing things, Rhoam. Things that are unusual and just about unheard of."

"Such as what?" Just then, the doors were burst open, and in you strolled, a bright smile on your face as you went to find your afternoon snack, your puppy right behind you. "_____!"

"Hi Amirah! Hi Rhoam!" You walked into the kitchen, quickly looking around for the cake from your recent birthday, and Amirah rose from her spot and followed you.

"I thought you were out training with Nolan?" She asked, stopping in the doorway as Rhoam walked over to stand behind her. You shook your head, taking the glass lid off the cake before cutting yourself a piece. "Can I talk to you then while your here?" You didn't answer as you licked the frosting off your fingers. "_____!"

"What? I'm not gonna eat all of it, Ami, I'll leave you a slice. I promise." You grabbed a fork and dug into your snack, and Archie scratched at your leg, so you grabbed his treat bag from another spot on the counter and gave him some.

"That's not what- mhh. That's not what I'm worried about." She sighed as you took another bite, and Rhoam spotted the apples next to her so he grabbed one for an afternoon snack for himself. "I have to talk you about something really important."

"Is it about the wedding?" You asked, mouth full of cake, and Amirah shook her head and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Your birthday?" Another head shake. "Then what's so important?"

"Have you ever heard of Calamity Ganon?" She asked, and Rhoam's satisfied expression turned into a worried one, and not knowing what this was about, you suddenly got confused.

"Calamity who?" You tilted your head, and Archie copied you as he finished his treat.

"Calamity Ganon. It's a dangerous threat to Hyrule that attacked ten thousand years ago." Amirah explained, and Rhoam sighed, placing a hand on her shoulder, and you raised your eyebrow.

"What's this Ganon guy got to do with now?" You went right back to your cake, and she pushed your plate away from you, causing you to shoot her a glance. "What?"

"I'm starting to think that it's going to happen again. We may be nearing another attack." She whispered harshly, and you reached for your cake but she grabbed your wrist. "Does this information mean anything to you?"

"Well I don't even know who or what Calamity Ganon is so what am I supposed to do with this knowledge? Beg him not to?" You turned back to her, and she sighed and released your wrist, which you quickly pulled back to yourself.

"_____, Ganon could take our world and destroy it if we aren't prepared. And if we're coming to that time again, I need you to understand what it means." She said, and you sighed and looked up at her now irritated expression. "I don't expect you to drop everything to worry about this, but it's more important than you think. Just read the Hyrulean Historia in the dining room."

"Well, if you don't expect me to drop everything, why is this so important for me to know now? Is he gonna attack tomorrow or something?" She shook her head, and you took another bite of cake. "Well, how about for now we just worry about your upcoming wedding, and not worry about something that happened ten thousand years ago."

"It's important for you to know now so you can prepare alongside us when the time comes. We plan on starting our preparation right after the wedding." You nodded and shrugged, and she rolled her eyes. "Do you at least understand what we're dealing with?" You didn't answer. "_____?"

"Yes, Princess Amirah, I understand the threat of 'Calamity Ganon' from ten thousand years ago and that Hyrule could be destroyed by it if the youngest royal doesn't understand what it is." You scoffed, and as you turned away, she grabbed your chin and forced you to look at her.

"Don't you use that tone with me. This is serious. But if you want to go ahead and goof around while our kingdom is potentially being threatened, then be my guest." She was looking you dead in the eyes, and while normally anyone would cower to her in less than a second, you had gotten used to it. So you held your glare.

"Ladies," Rhoam hesitantly said, frozen in his spot as he reached out slowly for Amirah. "Maybe we could just work this out, and-"

"I have training to do tonight. Don't wait up for me." You escaped her glare and walked right past her, causing a small gasp to come from her as she turned to watch you walk away, and she chased after you.

"_____! You don't get to just walk away from me!" She stopped in the hall just outside of the door to see you already turning the corner, and Rhoam rushed out after her and placed his hands on her shoulders. She let out a sigh.

"Amirah, darling, I understand that you want her to know this all but she is still young." Rhoam told her calmly, leaning over a bit. She reached up to hold his hand and look away with another sigh.

"Rhoam's right." Both royals looked back to see Lady Kiya walk towards them, and they bowed their heads to her. "_____ only turned fourteen last weekend. And besides, you do have a wedding coming up, your highnesses."

"I promise you, Amirah, we'll sit her down and explain everything soon. We just have to give her some time." Rhoam said, and Kiya nodded in agreement. "We should just get through the wedding first, and then once we have more time and can be patient with her, we'll help her to understand."

"I know. I just want her to be safe and prepared if something were to happen and we weren't here." Amirah released a sigh, and Rhoam moved his hand from his shoulder to her cheek. "I hope you both are right."
