To my fourteen years old self, this novel is dedicated to you. We made it. I'm so proud of what you have become.

Thank you sa pakikinig n'yo sa mga ideas ko. Kahit minsan alam kong naguguluhan kayo, you all still push me to continue. I started to believe in myself because you believed in me. Mahal ko kayo.
And to Zia, IamHerNot. Thank you for guiding me and sharing your thoughts on the drafts that I sent you. It really meant a lot to me. Hindi ka nagsasawang basahin lahat kahit sobrang haba. You've always been patient with me. You've been there from the start. I can't believe that you were going to be a witness to my growth as a writer; from writing random cringy lines to serious ones. Through words, our friendship blossomed. I appreciate you so much; you know the rest. Palagi ko naman ng sinasabi. I love you. ♡'･ᴗ･'♡

Hello mga mahal! We made it here. ETNS has finally ended. This book is a huge challenge for me. I wrote this because I felt like I needed to and I felt that my voice should be heard. To be open about the topics discussed in the book was really hard for me as a writer.
Genesis, thank you for allowing me to embrace my sadness, the dark times, and the ugly parts of myself. Writing your character was draining. I intentionally made you flawed and some of your views were questionable most of the time. Not everyone would agree with your decisions and thoughts. But that's alright, every one of us has our internal battles. Living in your head was one of the challenges I faced in writing this novel.
Mikael, you have the purest heart. Thank you for reminding me always to see the good in people. You may have a dark past, but you chose to be a light in this cruel world. Kindness has always been instilled in your spirit.
To be honest, Embracing the Night Skies isn't a love story that I would want for myself or anyone. But I hope may we all find our own Mikael and Genesis in our lives in this lifetime. Kahit hindi sila perpekto, handa nilang hawakan ang kamay mo para sabay kayong humarap sa laban ng mundo.
I hope this book reaches the right readers. May you absorb the lessons and understand each character's point of view. I do not condone the harmful actions and toxic characteristics of the characters.
I think this is the most imperfect piece I've ever made. Forgive me for the inconsistencies and grammatical errors. Typographical errors are inevitable, even though I double-checked them. Sorry ulit.
This story has a lot of loopholes, and I will edit it when I have spare time. If you have corrections and thoughts, my dm's and email are open. I'll gladly listen because I wanted to be educated as well. Let's learn from each other.
And for you my dear reader... You must learn to love yourself as much as you give your heart to others.
To the Aria of every family, I accept you with all my heart. I hope it gets better, I am with you.
To all the Genesis and Mikael (Bob's parents) out there, I hope you find healing. I hope you can put back all those broken pieces of yourself again. It isn't a smooth journey, but I believe in you. We may be scarred, but we're beautiful. The pain doesn't define who we are as a person. ♡︎
