When you work at a restaurant, you either have a really nice and supportive boss, or you have a crappy and rude boss.

Unfortunately, Y/N was stuck with the second type. She often worked more shifts than any other employee and many customers complained about her for no reason.

Y/N
"Roberta, can I leave at 6 pm? I have an appointment." You asked your blonde-headed boss as you entered her office.

"Nope. You're gonna have to reschedule your appointment." She hissed.

"What? Why? Please don't tell me I'm on closing duty..." You were expecting the worst explanation.

"No, you're not on closing duty, but we have a special reservation at 7 pm, and you're my best server." Roberta smiled.

"Sure. Can I know who I'm serving?" You asked, confused.

"No, but I can tell you that the two will be at table 7." She frowned before kicking me out of her office.

When 7 pm came around, you saw Celia showing a pair to their table, table 7. Looking at the pair, you were shocked to see the male sitting down. It was Tom-freaking-Holland. He was sitting across from a woman who looked to be no older than you.

You were a big fan of Tom. You loved his movies and always asked your best friend to come and see his newest movie with you.

You calmly walked over to the table, two menus in your hand.

"Hi, I'm Y/N and I'll be your server for this evening. Can I get you some water to begin?" You asked, placing the menus in front of the two. Tom hadn't yet seen you.

"That would be great, thanks. Right Tom?" The woman asked, lightly nudging Tom. By his slow reaction, this might've been their first date.

"Sounds great." He spoke, finally meeting your gaze. It had been your dream to meet Tom and it was finally happening. This wasn't a one time thing. You'd be serving him all night.

"I'll be back soon with your waters." You smiled, walking away.

"Tom is at table 7! You set me up to serve Tom-freaking-Holland at table 7!" You panicked as you entered Roberta's office.

"You're welcome." She didn't even look up at you as you headed to the bar, getting water.

You placed the waters on the table, writing down the drink and food orders.

After 20 minutes, you placed the food on the table.

"Is there anything else I can get for you two?" You asked, smiling.

"Nope. You can leave now." The woman rudely smirked.

Walking off, you watched from the kitchen as the woman on a date with Tom constantly touched his hand, laughed a little too hard and always looked at him like a lovesick puppy.

Once their foods were finished, you looked at the woman, seeing that she was clearly wanting more.

"Do you two want desert?" You asked, seeing the woman's eyes open in happiness.

"Yes please." She grabbed the two menus and placed them on the table, before she ushered you away. Knowing what the most expensive item on the menu, you listened to the table, hearing what she ordered for herself.

After a while, you heard the woman's voice.

"Check please!" She waved her arms at you, ushering you to get the check. You looked at the total as it printed out.

$886.95

Before walking over to the table, you wrote a note on the bottom, hoping that Tom would pay for it.

Placing the check on the table, the woman picked it up and handed it to Tom.

"You can pay for this, right? You're a famous actor, you have the money." She rudely refused to pay for the food.

"I'll be back in a minute." The woman walked off, leaving you to watch as Tom skimmed over the check.

"I'll pay for dinner. You can leave if you want. I've got it covered." Tom spoke to the woman once she came back.

Tom looked at the check, and you could see him smiling slightly before signing it and handing his card over to you. You payed with his card before walking back over to the table.

"See you outside." Tom smiled before you walked off, leaving Tom alone to grab his jacket.

TOM
Harrison loved putting me on blind dates, but I knew that this girl might have been going on a date with me, only to spend money.

"Hi, I'm Y/N and I'll be your server for this evening. Can I get you some water to begin?" The server asked as she placed two menus in front of the Kathleen and I. I looked at my phone finishing an email.

"That would be great, thanks. Right Tom?" Kathleen asked, lightly nudging me with her hand. I slowly placed my phone back into my pocket and looked up at the server. Looking up into her eyes, there was something special about her. She seemed genuinely excited to see me, unlike Kathleen.

"Sounds great." I spoke, seeing Y/N smiling.

"I'll be back soon with your waters." She smiled, walking away.

Y/N came back and placed the waters on the table, writing down the drink and food orders that Kathleen and I had chosen. I knew that Kathleen was only here because I could pay, as she had ordered the most expensive items on the menu.

After 20 minutes, Y/N came back with each food item we had ordered.

"Is there anything else I can get for you two?" She asked, smiling.

"Nope. You can leave now." I noticed that Kathleen rudely smirked.

Once Y/N walked off, Kathleen started touching my hand a lot, and she started laughing harder and harder with every sentence I was saying. She laughed so hard that some people started to look at her. She was obviously acting like a lovesick puppy. I had seen that type of acting through my movies.

Kathleen finally finished her meal, myself having finished my food 10 minutes prior. Y/N returned, Kathleen eyeing some deserts that had been placed on other tables around us.

"Do you two want desert?" Y/N asked, Kathleen smiling.

"Yes please." She grabbed the two menus and placed them on the table, before she ushered Y/N away. I wasn't really hungry for desert, but I watched as Kathleen slowly scanned the desert menu, choosing what she wanted.

Kathleen gave Y/N her order and 10 minutes later, Kathleen was shoving the desert into her mouth, clearly enjoying it.

"Check please!" She waved her arms at Y/N, ushering her to get the check.

Knowing why Kathleen was here, once Y/N placed the check on the table, Kathleen picked it up and handed it to me.

"You can pay for this, right? You're a famous actor, you have the money." She refused to pay for the food.

"I'll be back in a minute." Kathleen walked off, leaving Y/N waiting for me to sign the check.

$886.95

Kathleen came back.

"I'll pay for dinner. You can leave if you want. I've got it covered." I smiled. Kathleen smiled back, quickly leaving me alone at the table.

Damn, Kathleen definitely wanted an expensive dinner.

I looked down the bottom, seeing a note, clearly from Y/N.

If you want to have some fun, maybe at a bar or arcade, my shift ends in 10 minutes. Meet me at the grey door with green writing. -Y/N.

As I read it, Y/N came back.

"See you outside." I smiled before Y/N walked off, leaving me alone to grab my jacket.

I walked outside, and like Y/N said, she opened the grey door with green writing, her bag on her shoulder, her jacket on, and her phone in her hand. We smiled at each other, beginning our walk towards the nearest bar.
