Y/N
You loved your husband more than anything, but sometimes, you just wanted for him to make you a nice dinner while you drank a glass of wine.

So, when you cleaned the attic of your home, your eyes widened when you saw 2 NERF guns and a whole tub full of rubber and foam bullets. Filling up the 2 guns, you placed 1 of them at the front door, grabbing a piece of paper and writing a very "loving" letter.

You sent a message to Tom, who would either be about to leave work, or on his way home.

You: Are you home yet?

Tom: No...why?

He seemed suspicious which made you laugh.

You: You'll see.

Tom: Y/N, what did you do?

You: You'll see!

You quickly hid in one of the many crawl-spaces that resided within the house, waiting to hear the front door close.

TOM
After the messages from Y/N, I was concerned. Knowing her, she had probably burnt the kitchen down or she might have smashed a window.

As I got out of the car, I was definitely worried when I saw a piece of paper. Picking it up, I smirked.

Husband,

Welcome home honey. I'm hiding somewhere in the house with a NERF gun. Here is the other one...

The LOSER cooks dinner tonight.

May the odds be ever in your favour.

XOXO, Wife.

I was definitely going to win this war. Picking up the gun, I got ready for a battle. I loudly shut the front door, making my presence known.

I entered the first room, being the living-room. Searching the couches, the fire-place, behind all the chairs and in all the cupboards, I was shocked to see that Y/N wasn't anywhere in the room.

For the next 34 minutes, I checked in the rest of the first floor, including the kitchen, the laundry room, the guest bathroom, the wardrobe and the bedroom, I was also shocked to find that Y/N wasn't there. Walking up the staircase, I held the gun close to me, searching the first 2 rooms.

Y/N
You heard his footsteps going up the staircase, so, you knew that sooner or later, he'd be checking in the bedroom, the bathroom, the wardrobe and other rooms. This battle was a game of hide-n-seek, except once you were found, you had to shoot the other person with as many fake bullets as possible.

When he reached the 2nd guest room, it was time for you to initiate your victory. Once you knew he had checked every possible hiding place of the room, you crawled out of the crawl-space, making sure that if Tom exited a room, you'd follow along behind him with as little noise as possible.

"Where are you, Y/N?" Tom asked, his British accent making it hard not to give up.

"I'll make dinner if it means so much to you? We can just end the battle right here, but only if you show yourself. I'll even put my gun down and kick it away." You smiled. You watched with silent excitement as Tom did what he said he would. He put his gun down on the carpeted floor, kicking it as far as it would go.

"Wrong choice, mate." You held the NERF gun that was larger than his up, his hands going up.

"Put it down, Y/N. I've forfeited the battle. You won." Tom moved his hand through his shorter hair, as he was only a month into filming for Uncharted.

"You thought I was going to just give up? I'm not ending this very funny battle without at least one shot." You smiled.

"Fine, I lost. Enjoy." He closed his eyes, allowing you to shoot him with a fake bullet, it falling to the floor.

Without warning, you unloaded your entire gun, the bullets bouncing all the floor once they had hit most parts of Tom's body.

"Hey! You said ONE shot!" He laughed.

"I know I did, but why not get you more than once? It's more fun that way." You smiled as he wrapped you in a hug, his arms going down to your waist, allowing you to wrap your arms around his neck.

"Anyway, what would my beautiful wife like for dinner tonight?" Tom asked, kissing me.

"How about...chicken carbonara?" You asked, kissing him back.

"Your wish is my command." He lightly dropped my bare feet to the floor, bowing as if he was at a restaurant.

"Since when were you a genie?" You laughed.

"Since I knew that I loved you." He kissed me one more time before he walked downstairs to the kitchen, starting to prepare dinner as I got us both a glass of wine.

"You know, I haven't played with NERF guns in almost 15 years." Tom admitted as he took a sip of his wine, the cook-book he was using in front of him.

"Well, I haven't played for years, and I won. I don't know what that says about you." You laughed.

"Maybe we should do more NERF battles more often. Maybe even invite Zendaya and Jacob?" Tom suggested.

"Excellent. We can make it a monthly event. Looks like we need to buy more NERF guns." You sipped your wine.

"I guess we do." Tom smiled as he looked at you.
