"I'm older!" Peter yelled as he took May's car keys from the shelf.

"I'm younger!" You yelled back, wanting so badly to win the argument.

"I'm taller!" Peter flexed, standing right up close just so he could prove how tall he was.

"I'm shorter!" You yelled back, pushing Peter away from you.

"I'm smarter!" Peter smirked.

"I'm-" You were about to say something, but you stopped when you realised what Peter was trying to get you to say.

"-not falling for that." You smirked back, having outsmarted Peter, who sighed.

"Whoa, what's going on here?" May asked, walking into the kitchen where you and Peter were.

"I want to go see my friend MJ, but Peter won't drive me to her place because he says that he has a party that he needs to attend!" You complained.

"Well, here's a problem solver. Y/N, you're not going to see MJ. Peter, you're not going to the party." May smiled.

"WHAT?!" Both you and Peter yelled, shocked by May's response.

"You both need to get along. Once you're able to be nice to each other, I'm happy to let you go and do your own things. Until then, play nice." May explained, removing her car keys from Peter's hand.

"So unfair!" Peter groaned.

"No. What's unfair is the fact that you both should be old enough to get along, but at the ages of 17 and 16, I'm still having to treat you both like pre-schoolers. Seriously you two. Grow up, or you'll be facing these sorts of punishments!" May rolled her eyes.

"These keys will stay in my desk until you two are behaving nice enough." She placed the keys in her desk drawer, locking it with another key that she put into her shirt pocket.

"Now, instead of bickering, you two are going to go and find something to do together." May suggested, you looking at Peter with anger in your eyes.

"How about we go and build the Lego Death Star that I got for my birthday?" Peter angrily spoke through gritted teeth.

"I don't feel like playing with kids toys. How about we play cards instead?" You stared back at Peter, hissing through gritted teeth. The faster you and Peter acted like loving cousins the better.

"Fine." Peter angrily turned toward his room, letting you follow.

For the next 3 hours, you and Peter played 4 types of card games. Over time, you started to notice a funny side of Peter. He started saying jokes that actually made you laugh.

After a while, you stood up, leaving Peter's room, only intending to be gone for a few minutes.

"I'll take you to MJ's place. Grab your bag." May smiled as she got her car keys from the locked desk drawer.

"Don't tell Peter. I'll make up an excuse." May opened her front door, allowing you to exit the apartment.
