Peter Parker stood in front of the TVA, confused as to why Dr Strange had transported him there.

"Mr Parker, we are the Time Variance Authority, also known as the TVA. Ever since you became an avenger during the fight between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, we have been keeping a close eye on you." The head TVA officiant stood in front of Peter, his eyes wide.

PETER
These people or beings...had been watching me since the very beginning. I was under constant supervision and they had obviously witnessed EVERYTHING I had done, from fighting alongside Iron-Man to being accused of killing Mysterio.

"A-Am I in trouble?" I could feel my heart pounding.

"Yes, you are, Mr Parker. As we said, we have been keeping a close eye on you, and your recent escapade showed us that you are in fact in no shape to be a hero." The head Authority spoke.

"Excuse me? What are you talking about? I am fit to be a hero, in fact, I've been a hero for almost 4 years!" I objected.

"Mr Parker, asking a Master of the Mystic Arts to perform a very difficult spell before altering the spell significantly is not something a normal hero would do." The head Authority crossed his arms.

"I needed to do it! I wanted my life back!" I objected, feeling my heart pound as I stood in front of the three Authorities, my head held high.

"Mr Parker, wanting your life back is never a good enough reason to alter the timeline, let alone the multiverse." Another Authority spoke.

"It was a mistake ok? But you need to understand that I wanted my life back after Mysterio took it away from me!" I cried out, hoping they would understand.

"Because of your recklessness and your lack of consideration of the consequences, you opened up our world to threats bigger than any of the criminals who have been previously before you. Many criminals in this universe have altered the timeline to save a loved one or altered the timeline to prevent an event from happening, but Mr Parker, you altered one of the worlds most dangerous spells, allowing dangerous beings to enter into our universe." The last Authority spoke.

"Look, I understand that what I did was stupid and dangerous, but my life was in the ruins. I had nothing. My aunt was dead. I lost both my best friends, one of them my girlfriend. I lost friends and people I considered family. I just wanted to get back what Mysterio took from me." I broke down, tears spilling down my cheeks.

"Mr Parker, using someone as powerful as Dr Strange to alter the timeline is fine, because he was doing his job in trying to protect you. But, you altered the spell in order to gain the result for yourself, which is why we are punishing you. If you had of just let Dr Strange cast the spell without any troubles, then you wouldn't have backed yourself into a corner. Do you understand?" The head Authority asked.

"Y-Yes." I barely spoke, feeling ashamed.

"Do you understand Mr Parker?" The head Authority spoke again, this time angry.

"Yes." I held my head up, my cheeks red and my eyes tear stained as I tried to stay strong.

"For your reckless actions and you crimes against the Time Variance Authority, you will spend an hour in the Multiverse Time Zone." The head Authority spoke, his voice booming. I let out a sigh, that wasn't as bad as I thought.

"T-Thank you for your final judgement." I smiled.

"Hold on, Mr Parker. The Multiverse Time Zone has no perception of time. So one hour for you, will be equivalent to 100 years on Earth." This shocked me.

"W-What?" I was confused.

"I-I'm spending an hour in the Multiverse Time Zone, but to all my friends and family, it'll be 100 years?! So by the time I'm released, everyone I've ever known and loved will be dead?!" I panicked.

"Exactly. Now guards, take Mr Parker away." The head Authority spoke as I was dragged away, fear enveloping me as I tried to stay calm.

Being thrown into the zone, I tried to calm myself down. I sat on what I thought to be the floor, crawling into a ball on the floor, letting myself fall asleep as I waited for the excruciatingly long hour to be over.
———
Waking up to a bright light shining in my eyes, I watched as two men grabbed me off the floor and put me back into reality, my brain slowly waking up as I was brought back outside by Dr Strange.

Walking around the city, I was shocked. Midtown High-School was gone and turned into a library. The old apartment block that my aunt and I used to live in was now a very expensive hotel and mall. Everything I had once known was gone. I couldn't even walk a block without thinking about Spider-Man. I looked around, watching as little boys and girls no longer wore Spider-Man merch.

"Excuse me? What happened to Spider-Man?" I asked, pulling a mother and her son away from their daily task.

"Spider-Man? Oh, well...he kinda disappeared, and since there wasn't any emergencies or super-villains around, no one really needed him anymore." The woman spoke, smiling.

As I walked around, I remembered, my family and friends. Running to the New York Cemetery, I broke down when I saw Aunt May's headstone. I had seen it once before, but it was now dirty and broken. Seeing the letters M and J, I cried. I walked over to MJ's headstone. I cried knowing that her dying breaths happened when I wasn't around, let alone not being in her memory. Seeing Ned's headstone made me cry even more. My best friend was gone and I had no one.
———
Growing older, I slowly smiled, knowing that soon, I'd reunite with my friends and family. When I turned 98 years old, I spent my birthday in my apartment, a glass of scotch in my hand as I watched the news on the TV. One week later, I fell asleep and never woke up. Many people like the idea of dying in their sleep, since they fall asleep and they die peacefully.

When I opened my eyes, I was greeted to a bright white light and two pairs of hands.

"M-Mom? D-Dad?" I asked as they showed themselves.

"Yes, it's us Peter. Welcome home." I hugged them, my heart pounding.

May walked up to me, her hands wrapping around my shoulders as she hugged me.

I watched as MJ and Ned showed up, Ned enveloped me in a hug, patting my back. When I pulled away, MJ held my hands as she pulled me in and kissed me, a kiss I hadn't received in over 100 years. As I pulled away, I looked down at my body, seeing that I was no longer 97 years old, but 19 again.

"Welcome home, Peter. We've missed you." She kissed me one final time before I held her hand and aunt May held my left hand.

From that moment on, I was home and safe. I was in the arms of my friends and my family. I had Ned and MJ back, I had aunt May back, but most importantly, I had my parents back.
