When Peter first met Phin, he didn't expect to become such good friends with her. He didn't expect her to fit in so well with his friend group. Ned and Phin bonded over their love for tech, especially when it came to Peter being Spider-Man. MJ and Phin bonded over themes and messages within books that they both enjoyed. Peter and Phin bonded over the fact that he was Spider-Man. Unbeknownst to Peter, Phin had a connection to another special super-hero, a hero that Peter might've liked to meet.

PETER
I sat in the cafeteria, Phin walking up to the table as MJ and Ned started arguing.

"Hey Phin. Did you like the Science quiz?" I asked as Phin smiled, sitting down.

"It was easy. But, I did want to ask you something..." She spoke, starting to eat her apple.

"What's up?" I asked, confused.

"I have a friend...in Harlem. I want you to meet him." Phin spoke, drawing Ned and MJ's attention.

"Is there any reason why?" I asked.

"Kinda. It's a super-hero reason." She added.

"Sure. I'd love to meet your friend." I smiled, continuing to eat my food.

Travelling all the way to Harlem wasn't an issue for me. While Phin, Ned and MJ took the subway, using E.D.I.T.H, I was able to safely swing across New York to the meeting place that Phin had given me. Landing in a secluded alleyway, I put on my normal clothes and neatly packed my Spider-Man suit in my bag. I met up with Phin, Ned and MJ, who had just arrived.

"So, where's your super friend?" Ned asked as Phin looked around.

"He should be here...right...about...now." Phin spoke as a figure just taller than Ned landed on the ground. The figure removed their mask.

"Peter Parker. I'd like you to meet Harlem's version of Spider-Man, Miles Morales." Phin smiled. This guy, he was just as cool as me.

"Hey. It's so nice to meet the OG Spider-Man. Phin has told me so much about you!" Miles shook my hand.

"So, Miles. How long have you had your powers?" MJ asked as Miles turned invisible while changing.

"About 6 months. I'm basically like Peter, but I have invisibility, and also Venom Strike." Miles smiled.

"Venom Strike?" Ned asked, confused.

"I can basically store huge amounts of electrical energy and release it at will. But, if I store more than I am safely able to absorb, I have no control over releasing a giant shock wave." Miles explained.

"Peter, how long have you had your powers?" Miles asked.

"About 3 years." I admitted as Miles looked at me with shock and excitement.

"Hey, maybe you can learn a thing or two from Peter? Maybe how to safely get rid of bad guys without leaving a pile of bodies." Phin laughed as Miles groaned.

"Phin, that was ONE time!" Miles rolled his eyes as MJ and Ned smiled.

For the rest of the afternoon, Phin, MJ and Ned sat in a coffee shop, talking about school, while Miles and I swung around Harlem in our suits, Miles showing me some of the cool spots to just sit and relax.

"Oh, I am definitely coming here more often." I smiled as Miles and I dropped onto a ledge from a billboard.

"I know. I'm so lucky to have such a beautiful view that I can easily access." Miles smiled.

"What's Spider-Man life for you like?" Miles asked.

"Mostly swinging around, fighting crime, stopping robberies or car chases. I barely have any time to just relax like this on a ledge. I'm either swinging around New York, watching out for danger, or I'm fighting some criminal. What about you?" I asked.

"Harlem has some crime, but not as much as New York. So, I do swing around and patrol, looking for danger to stop, but most nights I'm just sitting on ledges, eating food and relaxing so I can be energised if there is crime for me to stop." Miles explained.
