The idea of having kids for any married couple is a dream. Most married couples pray to have kids, but not Peter and Y/N.

For Peter and Y/N, having kids was not only daunting, but Peter had one fear that would control his life when it came to kids.

Peter didn't want to have kids, only for them to grow up without him or Y/N, due to the fact that he's Spider-Man.

After Y/N and Peter got married, they agreed that once New York was safe enough and crime free, they would attempt to have kids and start a family. They had been married for 2 years, people constantly asking about their plans when it came to starting a family.

Y/N
"Morning Peter." May smiled as she cooked breakfast. Her apartment was being renovated, so she was staying in the Avengers Compound.

"Morning May. Have you seen Y/N?" Peter asked.

"I'm right here, Peter." You kissed his cheek. You noticed that May couldn't help looking at the wedding rings that both you and Peter were wearing.

"So, Y/N. Now that you and Peter have been married for 2 years, are you thinking about planning for kids?" May asked.

You shook your head, knowing that soon, Peter would complain or yell at May.

"May, don't..." You calmly warned her.

"Why? It's just a question." Nat entered the room, clearly having heard the conversation.

"Well, you don't have to even think about having kids. You're not able to." You were upset that neither of them would give up.

"Woah, calm down. What stick is up your ass?" Nat asked, just as upset.

"There isn't a stick up my ass. I'm just...being cautious of someone who is very fragile when it comes to the subject of kids." You hinted to Peter.

"Why is he so fragile?" Steve asked, making his presence known. Sees everyone was interested. Just as you began to speak, Thor walked in.

"Each of you know how hard it is to be a super-hero." You started, trying to hold back tears.

"For Peter, he fears that he'll never be able to raise a kid. He lost his parents when he was a kid. I don't think he'd ever forgive himself if something happened to him and we had kids." You informed the group.

"Are you planning to ever have kids?" Thor asked, confused.

"Possibly. We decided that if we were going to have kids, Peter's other life as Spider-Man needs to be less. We agreed that if kids ever came into the picture, New York would need to be a safer and crime free place." You sat down.

"Y/N, you both know that New York will never be a safe place. In my opinion, you need to suck it up and deal with the fact that your future child with grow up in a dangerous world." Nat sat next to you.

"We can't, Nat. It's not just about the safety of New York. It's the fear that one day, Peter might go out to fight as Spider-Man and never come back. He might never put his children to bed again. He might never see their first day of school..." You cried.

"Ok, ok, I'm sick of all of you harassing my wife. We have our reasons for not wanting kids just yet. Please leave it alone." Peter lifted you off the couch, hugging you.

"I guess it's not Peter who's the fragile one..." Thor spoke.

"Dude!" Peter hissed at Thor who had sat down.

Using your powers, a pink ball levitated a knife from the kitchen, facing towards Thor.

"I suggest you choose your next words wisely." Peter warned him.

Thor didn't open his mouth, scared.

"I-I'm sorry." You put the knife back in its place, wiping the tears from your eyes as you took a deep breath in.

Sitting down, you looked around.

"Peter and I are just scared." You admitted.

"We all understand, Y/N. We'll all support you and whatever you two plan." May and Nat hugged you and Peter, their support meaning a lot to you and a lot to Peter as well.

You smiled at everyone, especially Peter.
