I sat on the couch, Y/N's head on my chest as we watched some random action movie on the TV in the Avengers Compound.

"Remote. Now." The racoon demanded as he sat on the couch, his hand out.

"No. You ask for the remote nicely." Y/N demanded as she pushed his hand away.

"Fine. Can I...please...have the remote?" Rocket asked, trying not to groan.

"No." I smiled as Y/N and I continued to watch our movie.

Hearing two pairs of footsteps behind me, I turned my head, seeing Peter Quill talking to Steve.

"C'mon. There is no way you haven't seen Star Wars yet! I mean, neither have I, but from my understanding, I live in a real life version of Star Wars!" Quill exclaimed.

"I haven't yet. But I will watch it this weekend." Steve smiled.

"I'll join you. I want to watch the movies that inspired the story of my life." Quill smirked.

"Did someone say, Star Wars?" I asked as I stood up, Y/N groaning as she knew where I was going with my question.

"See what you've done, Quill? You've peaked the interest of our compound's resident nerd, who happens to be a teenager." Steve groaned.

"What. The more Star Wars nerds, the better. Hey kid, you willing to join us for our Star Wars movie marathon this weekend?" Quill asked as my face lit up with happiness.

"I will do anything if it means I can be apart of a Star Wars movie marathon!" I smiled.

"No, Quill. I am not spending a whole weekend with the kid." Steve argued.

"Too bad. I'm assuming by the kid's current excitement, he knows a lot about this movie franchise, so having him with us during the movie marathon allows him to tell us anything we're too stupid or confused to understand." Quill defended my right to come along.

"I'll only allow the kid to join us if Y/N comes. She's his girlfriend, so if the kid goes overboard, Y/N can stop him from going further." Steve spoke.

"Deal." Quill and Steve shook on it, leaving me excited for the movie marathon, while Y/N rolled her eyes and quickly prevented Rocket from changing the channel so he could he could watch his stupid racing shows.

Low and behold, the movie marathon was upon you. Peter has been talking about it non-stop since Quill and Steve made a deal.

Quill had obviously done his homework on the franchise, so when Steve asked the questions, he could make Steve look stupid by answering them instead of Peter.

You found that Quill and his need to embarrass Steve was actually stupid, as he had defended Peter's need to stay for answering any questions that the two men had.

As expected, Steve threatened Peter, swearing that if he heard Peter mutter a single word not prompted by a question, Steve would turn off the movie and he'd never turn it back on again to watch it.

You rested your head on Peter's chest, holding his hand. You decided that every time Peter was going to say something not prompted by a question, you'd either squeeze his hand, or pinch his wrist to keep him quiet.

Somehow, after the first 3 movies, Peter didn't say a word. You were surprised to hear that Peter only spoke whenever Quill or Steve mentioned his name or they looked directly at him.

Every movie was finished. Peter had spent hours upon hours trying to hold back his comments about the franchise. Whenever he was close to revealing something, he'd place his lips on your neck. He wouldn't kiss your neck, he'd just rest his lips on your neck until the urge to say something had passed.

"You did well Peter. I didn't think you'd get further than the first movie." You placed a kiss on his lips as he sighed, clearly exhausted by his determination to finish every movie without falling asleep, although both Steve and Quill both tried to coerce him to sleep because they both wanted to end the marathon, even if not all of the movies were finished.

"I tried my best." He smiled, giving you a kiss back.

"You are a tough kid." Quill smiled.

"Stupidly he didn't fall asleep. We were only one lullaby away from sending him to sleep." Steve rolled his eyes.
