Tom Holland- No longer a secret

For years, Tom had been lying to the world. Although he was notorious for spilling secrets, there was one secret he swore never to tell. His relationship with Zendaya was strictly professional, kinda.

Since Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tom has lied to the entire world when regarding his relationship with Zendaya. To the entire world, Tom and Zendaya were madly in love. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. To Zendaya, Tom was like her brother, her best friend. To Tom, Zendaya was his best friend, but he didn't like her in a relationship way.

Surprisingly, Zendaya had started developing feelings for Tom's best friend Harrison Osterfield. As for Tom, he had been in love with his childhood best friend Y/N.

Unfortunately, because Y/N wasn't an actress, dating her wouldn't be in Tom's best interest. On the other hand, since Zendaya was an actress, and playing his character's (Peter Parker) love interest (MJ), it would be in his best interest if he convinced the world that they were dating.

He didn't have much say in this idea, but if it made his bosses happy, he did what he was told.

So, while the public thought that Tom was dating his co-star Zendaya, Tom was actually dating his childhood best friend Y/N, and neither of them minded.

You rested against Tom's chest, your phone in your hand as Tom rubbed your wrist.

"Close to an engagement? Tom Holland and Zendaya are coming up to their 4th year anniversary. Will we hear about an engagement from the couple? Tom Holland is expected to appear on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. Maybe he'll reveal his future plans with Zendaya then?" You read the article on your phone, Tom unable to hold back his laughter.

"Damn, it's been nearly 4 years?" Tom smiled.

"Yep. Nearly 4 years since you and Zendaya started "dating". But, you're telling them tonight, right?" You asked, fiddling around with your engagement ring.

"Yes, but not about the engagement. For now, I'll just reveal that I'm not with Zendaya anymore and haven't been with her for a long time." Tom smiled.

"I love you Tommy, you know that? I can't wait until everyone knows that you're married to me." You smiled, kissing his jaw.

"I love you more Y/N. I promise that by the end of this month, everyone will know that you've captured my heart." Tom kissed you. It became a peaceful moment until his phone buzzed.

The only people who know about your engagement to Tom were his family and your family. Obviously, for privacy reasons, both families promised not to say anything until the engagement news had been released by either you or Tom.

After dealing with whatever or whoever was on his phone, Tom got up, going over to get his outfit ready for his interview.

He had a shower and soon after exited the bathroom, only a towel covering his naked and wet body. His damp curls stuck to his forehead as he walked over to the bed, picking up his shirt. He was clearly not phased by the fact that his towel could slip and fall to the floor if he wasn't careful.

"I can't wait to wake up next to you every day for the rest of my life." You got up and kissed him, helping him with his sleeves. He tucked his shirt into his pants as you fixed his hair, curling it more, but only slightly.

After a few hours, you changed the channel in the living-room, tuning in to Tom's interview with Jimmy Fallon.

"So, Tom, according to some articles, you and Zendaya have been dating for nearly 4 years and soon it will be your anniversary. Will we see a proposal online or an engagement announcement in Instagram?" Jimmy asked as Tom looked around, clearly trying to figure out a way to break the news.

"Actually, Zendaya and I aren't together anymore. We haven't been for a while." Tom admitted, your hands fidgeting as you waited for Tom to speak again.

"Wait, really. What happened? How long have you been broken up? Are you dating anyone new? If so, what's her name?" Jimmy threw out a lot of questions.

"Yep. It was a mutual decision, as we both had interests in other people. We've been broken up for about a year and a half now. I am dating someone new and have been for a year. And, no. I'm not saying her name." Tom smiled, everyone surprised. Obviously he lied.

In present day (mid 2020), you and Tom are only 2 months away from getting married and Zendaya is in a happily private relationship with Tom's best friend, Harrison.
