Y/N
Sitting on your bed, you texted your friend Tom, who had been home for less than a week.

You: It's weird. I haven't seen or heard from Sienna in almost a month.

Tom: Have you attempted to call or message her?

You: Yeah, I have, but no response. I guess she's visiting her grandparents cabin. They don't have any WIFI or internet up there.

Tom: That reminds me. You wanna come with me to a concert tomorrow? I have an extra ticket since Jacob can't come.

You: I'll message Sienna and see where she is. If she's busy, then sure.

Tom: No worries.

Clicking off Tom's chat, you clicked on Sienna's chat, seeing that she was online.

You: Hey Sienna. Everything okay? I haven't heard from you in almost a month.

Sienna: Yeah. Everything's fine. I've just been staying with my grandparents while my parents move houses. We've finally got some internet/WIFI since we're in town getting groceries.

You: When are you coming back? I wanna catch up with you.

Sienna: Unfortunately, we're not back for another 2 weeks.

You: No worries. Just let me know when you're back and we can hang out.

You sighed at the fact that Sienna saw your message, but didn't reply.

You: Sienna's still stuck at her grandparents place, so I'll happily come with you to the concert.

Tom: Sounds good.

For the rest of the day, you started planning your outfit. It was a concert and Tom had sent you information about who you would be seeing.

The next day came. Tom picked you up and took you to the arena. Since he was famous, trying to get to the front of the stage was difficult. You laughed at the amount of fans that asked for photos.

Before long, the artist who was performing came out and started singing, exciting the crowd. You sung along with Tom, who was enjoying this artist as much as you were.

At the intermission, you went to the toilet, having needed to pee for over 45 minutes. As you sat down and relieved yourself, you scrolled through Instagram, seeing hundreds of other people posting about the concert, with photos and videos attached. You stopped scrolling when you saw a post from Sienna. You thought that she didn't have internet or WIFI up at her grandparents cabin. You thought that if she had taken photos, she'd post them when she was somewhere with WIFI or internet.

But, it wasn't that she was posting things. It was what she was posting that made you stop scrolling. Swiping through the 5-6 photos and videos, you tried not to gasp or cry. Sienna lied to you. She said that she wasn't leaving her grandparents cabin for another 2 weeks, yet only 35 minutes ago, Sienna had posted photos and videos from the concert that you and Tom were at. She had purposely lied to you to avoid hanging out with you. Deciding to trap her in a lie, you dialled Sienna's number. You walked back out to the stage, meeting back up with Tom. From where you were, you could see her sitting up in one of the stands.

Sienna: Hey Y/N. What's up?

Y/N: You've got internet?

Sienna: Yeah. We're at a restaurant, celebrating our move. We're heading back to the cabin in an hour.

Y/N: You're out at a restaurant? It sounds really loud on your end.

Sienna: There's like 3 families with small kids. So much yelling.

Y/N: Your photos of the restaurant on Instagram look cute.

Sienna: Yeah. The restaurant is lovely.

Y/N: Okay. Well, enjoy your time.

You hung up the phone, watching as Tom stared at you in confusion.

"Sienna's here and she lied to me." You admitted, Tom understanding.

"Where is she?" Tom asked.

"Right...there." You pointed at the stand to the left of the stage.

"Shit. I'm so sorry, Y/N." Tom hugged you.

"What's worse? She's with Jessica and Rose." You scoffed.

You were really hurt by the fact that your best friend lied to you. This made you wonder how many of your friends acted exactly like Sienna.

All you knew was that Tom was your true friend. He invited you to most of his press events and premieres without hesitation. He loved hanging out with you and never lied to you about where he was and who he was with. If he said he was in his room with his brothers playing games, he would be. If he told you he couldn't hang out with you because his mother was in the hospital, that was the truth. He cared about you so much that he didn't like lying to you, so he didn't.
