Y/N Y/L/N had travelled more times in the past 3 years than she had in her 20 years of living. Why? Well, 3 years ago, when Y/N was only 17 years old, she stumbled upon a weapons trading business run by a gang boss. Now, the trading was less than legal, considering everything from military-grade weapons to alien technology was being traded from gang boss to mob boss.

Figuring that the gang boss would most likely kill her because she knew something she wasn't supposed to, she managed to convince the gang boss that she was the perfect person to help him run the illegal trading business. She'd do all of his dirty work and he'd keep the cops and any other law enforcement away. Apparently, law enforcement included the Avengers. To make avoiding the cops easier, her boss had one of his technical employees create top-of-the-line weapons and gear, which would allow her to slip away unnoticed. Adding to her gear, a lot of her equipment was made with alien technology. As a side assurance, Y/N was taking karate lessons in order to make confrontation with the cops easier to win.

Y/N was in New York for a new business deal. Her boss had given her the name of the man she was trading with and the location where the trade would take place.

While staking out the trading location - a warehouse -, Y/N heard beeping. Stopping dead in her tracks, she stayed as still as possible, trying to figure out where the beeping was coming from. Her heart raced as she turned her head, her eyes landing on a red laser line that originated from the upper floor of the warehouse. She tried to find an exit within her eye line, and she found one, but as soon as she took a step away from the red laser line, every single door was blocked by metal shutters, instantly keeping anyone inside in and anyone outside out.

"We have some activity at the warehouse." Tony exhaled as he touched the button that activated the security cameras.

"Wait, that woman...she looks familiar." Natasha stared at the footage.

"That's Y/N Y/L/N. She was in California a week ago. Two men were found dead and Y/N was seen fleeing the scene." Steve explained as everyone began to suit up, ready for action.

Within 15 minutes, the whole Avengers team were at the warehouse, preparing to enter and take Y/N in.

As for Y/N, she was trying to find a way to escape. She eyed every possible exit and exhaled when she couldn't seem to get away.

"Y/N Y/L/N! Stop!" Tony - as Iron Man - busted through the roof of the warehouse.

Y/N bolted. She ran as soon as any of the Avengers got closer to her.

The team managed to corner her. Right after she jumped through the hole in the roof, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Captain America and Hawkeye cornered her against the wall of the warehouse.

"Give yourself up, Y/N! You're surrounded. You've got nowhere to run." Spider-Man yelled.

Y/N exhaled, desperate to escape. The sooner she escaped, the sooner she could lay low and keep her head down until the storm passed.

"Sorry, gents...and lady. Can we do this...tomorrow, maybe? I've got places to be. Things to do." Y/N smiled, trying find a way to escape.

"I- Is she serious?" Spider-Man looked at his team members, confused.

"You do know we have to bring you in, right? We're not kidding." Spider-Man decided to step forward.

"If you can catch me, I'll give up." Y/N smirked. Just as she was about to try and escape, Spider-Man aimed his webs at Y/N and watched as she was flung toward the wall, stuck to it without any chance of escape.

"You given up yet?" Spider-Man chuckled as he helped Captain America secure her.

The team was struggling to get Y/N to open up. Tony had tried. Steve had tried. Even Natasha had tried, thinking that another female presence might open her up - but nothing.

"Why don't I try? I'm her age." Peter suggested, eyeing Tony, who nodded.

"Hell no. That woman right there is a dangerous criminal who has a history of trading incredibly dangerous weapons." Tony shook his head, trying to convince the 20-year-old.

Without warning, Peter opened the interrogation room door and walked inside, completely ignoring Tony's order.

"Hello, Y/N. I'm Peter." Peter exhaled as he sat opposite the woman, who chuckled.

"Iron-Man couldn't crack me. Neither could Captain America or Black Widow. Who's stupid idea was it for you to come in here?" Y/N rolled her eyes.

"Look, we can make a deal. You give us the name of your boss and every single charge laid against you will be dropped." Peter crossed his arms and leaned back.

"Ha-ha! What makes you think I'll make a deal with you?" Y/N chuckled.

"You wouldn't've given yourself up so easily if you didn't want to be caught." Peter explained, watching as Y/N's face dropped in confusion.

"I didn't give myself up, Peter. You caught me." Y/N eyed the 20-year-old male, who furrowed his eyebrows.

Peter suddenly noticed Y/N's fidgeting. Her thumbs were tapping against each other. It wasn't just normal tapping. She was clearly trying to send a message. Grabbing his phone, Peter watched her fingers carefully, trying to understand what message she was trying to send.

—, •• —, • — •, — •
"T...U...R...N." Tony, Natasha and Steve all read the message sent by Peter.

— — —, •• — •, •• — •
"O...F...F." Natasha wrote the word down next.

•••, •, — • — •
"S...E...C? Sec?" Steve questioned, confused.

— • — •, • —, — —, •••
"C...A...M...S." Tony spoke as Natasha wrote the final word.

"Turn off security cameras." Tony put all the pieces together.

"Are we really going to do that? She's a criminal." Steve shook his head.

"She won't talk until we do. We don't have a choice." Natasha exhaled, watching as Tony turned off all cameras. The only person who would hear what she was saying was Peter. He looked down at his phone.

Nat: Cameras are off. She better talk.

"The cameras are off. The only person who will hear anything is me." Peter explained, leaning back.

"His name is Chris Diolo." Y/N started, watching as Peter wrote down the name.

"3 years ago, I accidentally stumbled upon an illegal weapons trading business. How I stumbled onto it is not important. Anyway, Mr. Diolo trades everything from military-grade weapons to alien technology." Y/N told.

"Who does he trade to?" Peter asked.

"Other gang bosses, mob bosses - anyone with enough money." Y/N explained.

"How did you end up working for Mr. Diolo?" Peter questioned.

"I knew that if I wanted to stay alive, I'd have to prove that I was worth having around. I ended up doing all of his dirty work. He'd keep law enforcement away from me and I'd deal with all of the trading. To make keeping law enforcement off my back easier, one of Mr. Diolo's men made me gear that was top-of-the-line and had bits of alien technology in it so that I could slip away unnoticed." Y/N continued explaining, watching as Peter wrote all of the information down.

"Thank you, for all of this information, Y/N. I'll talk with Mr. Stark about getting all charges against you dropped. We'll also discuss setting you up in a safe house until Chris Diolo is brought into custody." Peter smiled.
