In the Y/L/N family, there is one rule that every child MUST follow from the moment they are born.
If you are not married by the age of 22, you will be set up in an arranged marriage.
Obviously, everyone, fearful of who they'd be paired up with for marriage, stuck to this rule, everyone except Y/N.
When Y/N turned 16, she was informed of the rule. When Y/N turned 18, her parents warned her that she only had 4 years left. When Y/N turned 20, she had cut off all ties with her parents, hoping that by that fact, the arranged marriage she wanted to escape would be null and void.
She was wrong.
See, the moment she cut ties with her parents, the process of finding her a husband was sped up, meaning that they needed to act quick before she ran away and did something stupid. When she got a text from her sister, Y/S/N, she was quite confused.
