You had been in and out of missions for over 3 years. Every time you went on a mission, you ended up hurting yourself so badly, that you'd be forced to skip the next mission. You hated it, but you understood that you were accident prone.

Today, you'd be going into battle for the first time in 8 months. The injury that kept you out of previous missions was a broken leg and a fractured arm.

Suiting up, you smiled at the suit that never failed to make you look good.

"You okay, Y/N? If you want to skip this one and just stick to training sessions and practices, none of us will judge you." Nat asked as she helped you put on your mask.

"No. I need this. I've been out of action for far too long." You sighed, standing up.

"Whatever you say, Y/N." Nat hugged you before you both walked toward the jet hanger.

Of course, You, Nat, Steve, Clint and Bruce needed the jet. Tony, Thor and Dr Strange flew to the battle, Peter tagging along as he was able to swing.

Arriving to the battle location, you mentally prepped yourself. Kinda nervous for this. As much as you wanted to go back into battle, there was a small part of your brain that was convincing you to back out.

"Be careful. She's extremely dangerous." Dr Strange informed everyone through their ear pieces.

"How dangerous see we talking?" Peter asked, clearly more nervous than you were.

"The "she can snap your bones just by moving her fingers" kinda dangerous." Dr Strange spoke.

"Great. Just great." Peter was clearly trying not to panic.

You and the rest of the non-flying Avengers landed at the battle site, Tony, Dr Strange and Thor already in their battle positions.

"You brought friends." The woman dressed in red tilted her head a smile plastered on her face.

"Looks like she started a little early." Nat groaned as you walked.

"I suggest you run...while you still can." She warned, a red ball growing larger by the second.

You didn't think twice. The part of the brain that had been trying to convince you before, was now in full swing. You smiled before turning and bolting in the opposite direction, knowing that just by how menacing she looked, the battle would be a tough one, and not easy to win. This decision was definitely the right decision, considering your injury that you had just spent months recovering from.

"Y/N! Where the hell are you going? Get back here!" Tony yelled, facing you.

"She literally just said to run while you still could! I'm taking her advice and running." You replied back, now far enough away to not hear him normally, but through the ear piece you were wearing.

"Seriously, Y/N. Get your ass back here right now! The more people we have fighting, the better." Tony yelled.

"Nope." You kept running.

"Peter, go and keep her safe please." You could hear Tony speak over the ear piece.

"No worries Tony. I'm happy to." Peter seemed more than happy to follow you, as was clearly not ready to fight someone as powerful as Wanda.
