Soo sorryyyy for the late update. I was caught up in work and studies and finsihed editing this chapter just now. I hope you like it and since I was late I would throw in the next update soon for you guys...so stay tuned!
Waking up next day for college when you slept at 3 in the morning is not a joke especially when you have early morning class. I am tired but not physically kind of tired as I walk through the sidewalk leading to my science building. I am mentally tired and I wish someone could provide me some remedies of it or maybe some medication that could blank my head where I feel nothing at all. I searched a lot and there were two things I could do. One is fast and other is slow.
The slow one is meditation and I did find a soothing video on YouTube that I think could help me and other is taking psychedelic drug which is quite fast. Although its purpose is to expand ones conscious but I could use some direction, some changes in my mental operation or self-discovery.
As I stop near my class I come to think off how stupid I sound in my head. I am not at the position where I need to take drugs to calm myself down.
I run hands through my open hairs before tying them in a bun. I am seriously losing my mind. I have to watch that YouTube meditation sooner—this is what any normal person would do and I have read the comments there is some serious changes they experience in their life.
I spot Drake and walk to him, the first thing he ask seeing me is how my art submission was. Needless to say I am back in that time as my head takes me to the disaster of yesterday.
"Fine." I answer and quickly divert the topic to some other things that is nowhere related to art. Halfway through his dissection of earthworm story Professor Green walks in thankfully. He starts with where we left of yesterday and I try my best to keep my focus since I am lacking since someone arrival here. Someone who I don't know is present in the class today or not. I am actually proud that I didn't look for him when I enter.
Class gets over and I take Drake's notes since I have some more left to write when I was absent. I take my work to the library where I finish it and more than hour later I find myself in the cafeteria. The library was too silent for me and all I could concentrate is in my head and the thoughts that don't know when to stop so I decide to sit at the loudest place. I write the notes and as I finish them completely, I tried to read and learn but nothing seems to make sense. I close the book and put my head on my arms which are on table.
"Is this chair occupied?" I look up to find a boy with dark hairs and dark skin asks me.
"I am sorry but my friends are going to be here soon." I tell him politely and feel bad as he nods and saunters to find other empty chairs. I could have given him one but I am already one less chair behind. One has to sit either on someone's lap or on table or better on floor. Let's see who's going to be unlucky one.
The first friend of mine who arrives is Julia who quickly takes her seat when I tell her about the shortage of space.
"Who do you think is going to be unlucky?" She asks rubbing her hands like Grinch.
"Um Drake because he comes late." I say and she shakes her head.
"I think it's going to be Selena because she is always late."
"Wanna bet?" I quirk my eyebrows and she narrows her eyes before extending her hand.
"On what?"
"Um how about I get the hardcover of The Kite Runner you have and you can get whatever you like?" I offer and see her eyes going wide.
"Kite Runner! No way I...wait I got this. How about I get one of your converse?" She says and I gasp.
"No way! Not my converse." They all are very precious to me and with Julia's stinky big feet they are going to stretch or either torn apart.
