Two hours worth of driving because I took the wrong turn because someone else slept and gave me wrong direction—We are finally here. After our endless arguments, making rules so we can tolerate each other, hitting on a tree, car gets broken, hitchhiking gone wrong, getting robbed, getting scammed nearly just after that, could've gotten injured with a knife and then conning a con man so he can gave us his stolen jeep—we finally made it through.

Everything seem so surreal, it feels like a dream. Seeing the building in front of us and the path that leads to our destination makes me want to drop on my knees, kneel myself fully and kiss the goddamn floor because only we know how much trouble later we are here. But I didn't unfold my dramatics here. I maybe am beyond grateful to be here finally but I don't want to get send into some hospital right after that by kissing the dirty floor which has uncountable germs.

Liam gets out of the jeep as I park nearby, we only have limited gas now that still can work for like 120 miles or so I think. I too get out and see Liam stretching his entire body. He rotates his neck rather harshly making cracking noises while I too want to squat or something because my hips feel numb after sitting so long without adjusting myself.

"Do you think seminar is still active?" I ask Liam as I check the time. It's 3:15 in the noon. The sun is still above us radiating heat but I park the jeep under a tree.

"Let's find out." He gestures and starts to walk. I follow him and on the route we ask a random guy for the direction. He takes us into the seminar hall since he too is going there so we follow him. The moment I see the banner that says —welcome junior scientist—I feel relieved that we are at correct place.

I see the cut out banner for picture that says hashtag young scientist. I already saw it in the picture other were sending in the group chat. So I know about it. Liam is walking ahead off me as we walk on the blue carpet surrounded by lame jokes on science on either side. I don't bother to read it anymore after the two and walk fastly.

We are made to stop near the checking area. A lady guard checks me with the machine and I'm glad that I dropped that knife in the jeep. She gives me a go sign and as I pass to the second phase, there is another lady in blue dress that handed me a lab coat and glasses with an ID. It isn't actually an ID because it doesn't have my name just about the organisation name and what event we are in.

"You have to wear this before going in." The lady informs and I nod. I quickly wear the lab coat and mutter curses at Liam when I bring my open hairs out from the lab coat and try to put it behind my ears.

The minute I wear the coat I look around for Liam only to see him arguing with the guard. I frown when I see a line forming behind him. I don't know what's the matter because of his stupid sunglasses that isn't giving much about his eyes. Although from his annoying face, he morphs— I can figure out it's related to lab coat compulsion.

"It's the rule sir. We're instructed to provide lab coat who doesn't have their own. Without it no can one attend the seminar." I hear guard says when I near them.

"Wasn't it enough that they tortured us from that whack jokes behind and now they want us to look like complete science geeks by this?" Liam retorts and I feel like to smack my own face.

The guard looks like he doesn't know what to reply because I am sure that wasn't in his script so before Liam gets thrown off from here by some heavy looking security guard, I break into the boys line and grab his shirt pulling him aside.

"It's not that hard to wear it, okay. By arguing here you will only get your ass thrown off from here." I tell him.

"Well my behind wants to be thrown off from here." He prods and I narrow my eyes.
