E V A N N A

The words that leave Mr. Parker mouth are not wrong. They contain every bit of truth in them. It was me who promised him discipline, gave him my words that I won't bring any kind of nuisance that could affect the café environment. He has every right to blame me because Liam would've never gone there last night if it wasn't because of me. He would've never interacted with Ethan and they would never fight and destroyed Mr. Parker property.

Yes, Liam might have done it all but in the end it all narrows down to me. I've broken down Mr. Parker rules of not getting my personals matter in cafe when I gave Liam free pass to just walk in whenever he likes. I was the one who let him touch me in my workplace, we kissed there, we banter there and then we made up there. That time I thought it wasn't big of a deal but now it is. I am sure just like Mr. Parker saw Liam in CCTV footage last night. He must've seen all that footage where Liam and I were quite close, doing PDA—he was so strictly against. Even Jake and Audrey who last night were all over each other never let us suspect during work that there's something.

But now what happened has happened and I have to fix it. I can't let Liam go to jail. I can't imagine him in there; seeing him behind bars gave me nausea and if he actually went there permanently I will definitely get sick.

"Mr Parker, please think about it again, we could come up with another solution. But please don't send him in jail." I request. I won't back down until I have no choice and even then I won't stop.

If we don't come up with solution then I guess I have to ask my father's help and god I don't want it. Asking my Dad about the situation we're in and how I have to bail someone out of jail because I happen to have feelings for that person—he will get a mini attack.

He will get a mini attack either way when he himself judges the situation and comes to solution that indeed Liam was at fault, intentional or not. He is strict when it comes to his profession. Whether it's a family person being guilty or some other close friends he never takes side of wrongs.

"Sir, please everyone in their life gets a second chance to redeem the wrongs they did and he...yes he did damaged your property but if you look into his records you would know he is not that kind of a guy." Drake says surprising me with his gentle yet sweet words towards Liam.

"There aren't any records, right?" Until he ruined by asking that to Liam.

Liam shoots him a look and grits his teeth. "Of course, fucking no."

"See, apart from his rather sailor mouth and sometimes way to honest and rude language may kind of gives negative points but he...he has a clean slate." Drake sums up as nicely as he can but I don't think so it leaves any effect on any of them.

I appreciate his efforts but he is not helping.

"I was with Audrey for her birthday and we kind of overstep the boundary of recklessness. Liam was only looking out for me, to check upon me if I am alright which is why he went there to ask about my whereabouts from Kim. He never had any bad intentions. If he would've wanted to do this all...he could've done way before." I say whatever I can to just stir his heart a little and he steps back down from this case.

"What you're saying till now are only random blanks to get him out of it but what I see when I look at him is that he is an ill-mannered, bad mouthed, not to mention someone who has a bad temper." He says and my jaw slackens hearing it.

The urge to shout at him, to tell him who he is to judge Liam like that when he didn't even know him. Hell he is judging him from the stunt he pulled yesterday and he is talking as if he knew him. A person personality changes when they're angry depending upon the ranges. He got Liam in his worst but that doesn't mean he can say stuffs like that about him.
