The door of the trial room opens making my heart race dramatically when I see a hand wedge in between the space, the antler tattoo spreading on the skin and the black rings around the fingers forces the door to open fully.
Liam walks inside, letting himself in as I automatically shift backward in the small space of the room.
"What are you doing in here?" I hiss. My heart running a mile per second having him here in the small space with me that too in a trial room of the most expensive shop.
"Getting you listen to me." He speaks rather casually as he trains his eyes on me while twisting the knob to shut the door without even looking at it.
I gulp and shift backwards if possible.
"Are you out of your mind! Do you even know where you are?" Oh my god! This is a girl's trial room. He is inside it and I am here with him.
"Yes I know I am in a changing room." He states as if it's not a big deal.
"You are in a ladies changing room." I emphasis.
"I am aware." He folds his arms across his chest while I gape at how casual he sounds while I am here panicking just thinking about what is going to happen once someone find out.
"Liam! Get out right now. You can't be here." I grit through my teeth.
"I am already here and I am not going out until you hear me out." He says, looking down at me.
"What do you mean by you're not going out? You have too before anyone sees you in here." Before Selena sees us in one room like this.
She is changing just to the next attached room of mine and I don't have any idea how thin these walls are. Judging by the luxury this shop has I'd say they have good trial room walls but I can't rely on that imaginary point.
If Selena sees us like this—what am I going to say? What logical reason is there to tell her why Liam is here in a changing room where I am.
"So?" He asks as if he can't grasp what is wrong with him being here.
"So Selena is right in the next room. Get out before she sees you here." I rush my words out as if I am on a timeout. I am though because any second I can hear her calling out for either him or me— when she doesn't see us.
"I don't care who sees us or not. I am not going until we talk." His needle stuck on that particular sentence while mine rotates dangerously with a tick tick sound, making my heart pounds simultaneously.
"All we had done since you showed your real face is talk and not a single conclusion ever came except from how you are always trying to find ways to get out from things that you have done." I say as quietly as I can.
Knowing Selena is in other room I didn't raise my voice at him for wanting to talk to me for hundredth times now.
"That's because you have a habit of jumping to your own fucking conclusion." He seethes and I clench my jaw.
"I have learnt from the best." I retort, reminding him of how many times he did the same with me. Without hearing from my side he used to yell at me, punished me by leaving me instead of talking like a normal person.
In this case, I am not like him. I have heard from my own ears, I have seen things coming to surface from my own eyes. I didn't depend neither made conclusion by drawing blank from the things—I in my messed up mind thought is correct. Unlike him, I have several proofs of how I came to the conclusion that he is the man who has no conscience.
"Are you going—" before I can tell him to leave again, the sound of opening door from other side interrupts me and my eyes widen in fear when I hear Selena calling out my name.
