L I A M

My heart is pounding violently in my chest as I park my car outside the bar. Without turning of the engine I get out and march inside only to stop from behind.

“Liam, listen to me. You cannot act on impulse. We are not even sure if he is the one who did it.” Daniel tries to say but I look at him with clenched jaw. Apparently both Daniel and Logan followed to the car, they kept on repeating the same shit but I know what I want to do.

“You can get out if you want.” I only say this before walking inside.

“Logan, please help me out before he does something stupid.” Daniel says behind me and I hear footsteps as I rush inside the bar. The place Dylan mentioned where he found Rose, we went there to check it but couldn’t find anyone. When I entered the alley nearby I saw trash cans scattered on ground, and specks of blood there. I didn’t want to think what it could be but being there in the alley, shivered my spirit up. It felt like I could hear her calling out for me in pain, the longer I stayed here.

I called someone at bar to know if Ethan is there and turned out he is. I push myself inside seeing it packed than usual due to weekend. Not few hours ago I was there, sulking over what happened with Rose and me—I didn’t even had the idea I would be here again out of the reason I am here for. My eyes look around the bar through the dancing drunken idiots littering on the floor, some going inside the booth while others slouching in the couch.

Blood immediately pounds in adrenaline when I see him sitting in one of the couch with that girl I saw him earlier with, all the fucking people I made bet with once. My lips form a snarl and I increase my pace, he isn’t aware of my presence but Noah who is sitting opposite of him does see me. He immediately stands up, fear in his eyes as he tries to find a way to escape.

“Why the fuck you look sca—” I don’t let him finish his sentence and grab him by the neck using my strength to pull him off the couch. His body slides backwards along with the couch. People sitting beside him all shouts when the couch is knocked backwards. They scurry away and I see his head hitting with the ground. He yells in pain and before he can say anything further he watches me upside down.

My face is mask with rage as I watch him lying on ground but his is opposite as he acknowledges me. He smirks in glee. “Our favorite money maker fighter is here.” He coos and I immediately put my boot against his neck pressuring.

“What the fuck Liam!” Mark yells. Shrieks go off around but I don’t pay attention as I pull the lighter out of my pocket. I put it right above his eyes so he can see it. I know Daniel was right, I cannot act in impulse unless I know if Ethan was actually behind it. I just need that look on his face the one which I know can tell me if I am about to kill the right culprit or not.

The moment his eyes see the lighter—he smiles big. So fucking big that I had hard time putting my boot against his neck. He rolls over and howls in laughter so loud that the music people were dancing on suddenly goes quiet. Behind me Logan and Daniel also watch in shock obviously not believing. I feel like someone just glued me on spot because I cannot believe it either. Ethan really did that to Rose? He is the reason behind her…

Her swollen face, bruised cheeks, cuts on body, torn clothes, and finger prints around her neck all flash in my mind like a storm. She was calling your name.

Liam. Her painful voice goes off in my mind and I finally come back in present. Growl escape from the back of my throat as I pounce forward and grab his collar, lifting him of the ground. My fist collides his cheeks until he is over the upside down couch.
