Hey!! I'm back with another update. I want to thank you guys so much for the 50k views on this book. Yes, we hit—50k which is surreal because it happened so fast. We didn't even finish this book, and we hit the number so fast. For the first book, I had to wait for so many years to even see it reach 50k but for the sequel, a lot of new things happened. I'm so happy and grateful for all my lovely, dedicated readers. Thank you so much for giving my books such love.

L I A M

It's been two hours since Rose's parents have arrived. They're with her, trying to console and calm her down. Before them Mrs Dodge managed well but it became quite difficult as Rose kept on having traumatic flashbacks.

When Rose's parents arrived for a second, we all blanked out. We didn't know what to say or how to break down the news until Rose screaming made them run towards her and saw her like that. None of us has told them what actually happened but obviously when they saw Rose, they've understood.

Rose Nana is also here, and I couldn't see them all properly since I'm not allowed in Rose room. Currently I am sitting in hall along with Selena who is perched on the side sofa since morning. Drake and Julia went out to buy some groceries I suppose and also to freshen up in their respective places. Meanwhile I have no idea where Dylan is not that I cared. I look over to Rose room and sigh.

Screaming and sobbing in pain has stopped for a while now. But I still remember the sound and the way Rose recited everything that happened with her to her parents.

Watching her from afar I know she didn't know what she is doing, she looked lost and scared as she kept on going about bruises all over her body and how much he hurt her. How much everything is hurting and paining. I wasn't able to hear that from her mouth, so I went outside in the balcony until her sobbing subsides.

I hear the door of her room open and on looking I see her father walking out. He closes the door keeping it ajar slightly before his red bloodshot eyes look at me.

Before I can ask him about her, he calls out in a hush whisper. "Liam." I see him walking silently into Amy's bedroom although he doesn't say anything but I'm assuming he wants me to follow him.

Unsure, I get up and go inside seeing him sitting on the edge of bed, staring at a distance. "What happened to her, Liam?" The question comes out in a murmur I barely hear it until he looks at me with tears in his eyes.

I hold my breath.

"What happened to my Eve?" He weeps and never in my twenty-one years of life I watched an adult crying like this. I am too speechless to say anything as I watch him shake in defeat.

"Ho—how, when, why?" He stammers until I feel my throat clogged up with emotions. "Why it happened with her?"

He puts his hand on his temples supporting it until tears rushed through his eyes and onto his cheeks. "She has never done anything bad to anyone so why this happened with her?" He cries and I can feel my own heart skipping a beat.

Pain intensifies in my chest hearing him.

I am the reason behind your daughter's condition. The words are on my tongue as he looks at me expectantly, waiting for me to say something.

"Who did this to her?" He asks and I swallow unable to move an inch back or forward. I'm immobile as I watch his tear-stricken face.

"I am sorry." Are the first words that I manage to usher out. His eyes furrow as he waits for me to clarify what I'm apologizing for. "This is my faul—"
