Liam pulls in the mall parking lot and I get out before both of them. Maintaining a safe distance I wait for them to be out and I bite my inside cheeks as I remember my embarrassing dive right on his dashboard. Well it was almost since if it did happen I wouldn't be here—we wouldn't be here in mall's parking lot but in hospital one.

I tuck my hairs behind my ear as the awkward silence after my almost accident resurface my mind. Selena tried to talk about random stuffs just to get the tension away and I know she must've done it seeing my uneasy state. I was glad of it but I am more glad after seeing the expression of Liam hearing the song that resembles him word by word.

I know it was petty and childish of me to do that but I had enough of him having every situation.

I hear the argument of Selena and Liam on wanting him with us. She is calling him out to come with us meanwhile Liam starts ranting on how he would stare at the wall rather than march behind us like some sort of bodyguard that holds shopping bags of every shop. Well he said that with his colorful swear words and I wish Selena would just stop pursuing him. I don't want him inside hell I didn't even want to ride with him in his car.

But how my luck is—in the end he lets out a groan and a loud fuck he gets out and follows her. She smiles and the ping of hurt in my chest aware me how he never agreed that easily with me before.

"C'mon, the heat is killing me, let's get inside quick." Selena says and rushes hurriedly towards the door. I refuse to look at Liam when he catches upto me.

Our hands simultaneously grab the door handle and I quickly retrieve as if it burns me. He opens the door and I wait for him to get in first but he doesn't. Confused I look at him and he gestures me to go inside first.

Wow this is new. Chivalry isn't dead in him afterall.

Well maybe it's alive right now due to the news I found out today.

I scoff at his sudden act of being a gentleman. "Drop the act; opening a door for me isn't going to give you any raise in my heart. You're still an asshole."

His features morph into anger hearing me, he looks like he wants to say something instead he pushes past me to get inside and leaves the door. It flies back with so much force that I didn't register but luckily the guard who has been missing before stopped it midway before it hit on my face.

"I am sorry mam. I was in the washroom." He apologizes and opens the door wider for me. I smile at him murmuring it's okay before catching up with them.

"Where to first?" I ask when we shuffle on the accelerator. Liam is already on the top when we step on it and I glare at his back.

"Clothes, I am thinking of going to Sak. They have 30% autumn sale." She squeals in excitement and I glance at her sideways.

"Isn't Sak the luxurious department? You know rich people shop?" I ask. I might not shop that much but I know some things especially when you have friend like Selena.

"Yeah it is but don't worry I am thinking of buying clothes there for me." She responds and I roll my eyes. We get off the accelerator and walk on the slippery marble tiles.

"Hello bring you along here for someone else's gift." I wave my hand in front of her and she scoffs.

"Relax I know."

I sigh and don't say anything as she continues to ogle the dummies in the shops on left. Selena looks like she is in her own world the moment we step inside. We haven't even step inside any of dresses shop yet she looks like she got everything she wanted.

"Wait for us Liam!" Selena speaks louder for him to hear who is quite at a distance. He doesn't turn around but did stop and I notice the phone he attached to his ear. He looks a bit edgier as he talks whoever is on the line before muttering something. Through his expression I am sure it's not some pleasant words.
