L I A M

"Liam wake up, we've landed." I hear someone say and feel a tap on my body. I groan and bend my neck down until I feel a sharp pain. I jerk and wake up in startle when someone shakes me like a damn earthquake.

Opening my eyes the first face I see is of Rose. I blink and look at our side a figure which seems blurry. I rub my eyes and see Drake giving me a sarcastic look.

"How the fuck did you sleep on a plane like a corpse?" He says and I look around seeing most of the space is empty. People are walking out of the plane.

"We're here already?" I murmur. My voice raspy and croaked. Rose nods her head and I see a small smile which I can tell she is surpassing.

"You'd no idea, seriously?" Drake asks and I shake my head. I didn't know I passed out solid. I remember being trapped between two unknown people. Either side of me, it was like a flashback as if I am reviving a vivid memory from past. I was completely send way back in my head until Rose pulled me out.

Thank that fucking smelly dude which caused her to exchange seats and sat beside me throughout the ride. Because of her scent I didn't even realise when I close my eyes and fell into a deep slumber.

Although as I get up to get my small duffle bag I can feel pain in my body. Literally every fucking where. How did I slouched in this small space that too for more than six hours?

I rotate my neck feeling a kink there. I wince when I overdo and decide to get it back on it's own. My body feel so stiff but my mind is neutral. It's not exhausted like it had been when we're boarding the plane. Smell of fresh air wafts in my nose and I immediately feel hot under my black denim jacket as we step outside the scorching sun.

We make it pass security and I grab Rose luggage. She tries to take it from me but I gesture her to walk. "But I can carry it out." She argues.

"I didn't say you can't. Just take us to our destination, I have your luggage." I say. She rolls her eyes but walks ahead without any argument. She is walking bit ahead of us, I can literally see her skipping steps as if we're not walking on airport floor but rather in meadow.

"Your fucking brother almost blowed up everything." I say to Douche as he catches up with his luggage.

"It wasn't his fault. He didn't know the whole story."

"But it definitely did put a doubt in her head that there might be a story."

"I am pretty sure she already had that doubt. A good news for you, she asked me about why I'm being your friend more than her."

"Where is the good news?" I frown.

"Good news is that you're not acting enough like you hate me causing her to think that, we might be friends." He smirks. "Lucifer, you're changing."

With that he walks ahead of me catching up with Rose while I process his words. Distaste like feel is left in my mouth at his insinuation.

I remove my jacket feeling goddamn hot. It's my first time visiting this state. Not like I've travelled much. Only via car or max train, I rode hitherto but inside the plane it was my first time. And I already hate it.

When I used to see the interior of plane on TV and how people has to usher inside the small place, having nothing to do except be stuck in the air—nowhere to go. It used to spike up my anxiety. I could only imagine how suffocated it must be like sitting beside a stranger. If something were to happen, you cannot even run, you just have to sit through until it gets over.
