Now it was my turn to blush. Heat rose on my cheeks as I understood what she meant by that. 

"I-It's nothing like that..." I stammered.

However, this got everyone even more curious. Even Natalya and Lucille started paying attention.

"So, you do have someone you like!" Sesel exclaimed.

My heart started pounding in my chest with the same teasing feeling I felt many times since I came here. I looked down, unable to say anything.

"Aww, that's so cute!"
"Wish Taiwan was here to see this!"
"What is he like, Miss (Y/n)?"

The countries kept asking me several questions.

I was too embarrassed to answer them. With every moment, his face drifted before my eyes more clearly. All those times we spent together, his endearing smile, the sudden touches...

"Ooooh, she's smiling~"

"E-Eh?" I looked up to see everyone staring at me knowingly.

"Miss (Y/n), it's alright. We won't make you feel uncomfortable," Lili smiled at me.

The others nodded. "And the way you were smiling to yourself already gave us our answers, dear," Miss Elizabeta said, motherly.

I smiled at them. "Thank you for understanding," I said softly.

Katyusha suddenly stood up with her teacup and raised it. "Here's a toast to all maiden's hearts! Cheers!!"

Several others joined. "Cheers!"
"Big Sister, sit down," Natalya groaned.

I giggled. "Cheers."

The rest of the afternoon passed away tranquilly. We enjoyed each other's company till it was time for us to head back in.

Evening had set in and I was in my room, going through some stuff I had brought from home. Suddenly I came across something that I had kept with me for several years.

An amulet which my father brought for me years ago when he first visited Japan.
