I stood outside the mansion waiting for Kiku. A pair of butterflies danced around me as I smiled, trying to touch one of them. It rested on my index finger and gently fluttered its wings.

I kept gazing at it while my mind was already preoccupied with Kiku's thoughts. I was glad that he agreed to go out with me...Now I only wish that he accepted my feelings too.

The other butterfly came and perched on my bracelet.

The bracelet...The blue moon bracelet which Yao gave me. My smile grew wider as I recalled the day I spent with him. It was such an amazing day. My every moment with him was always filled with joy.

"You seem very happy today, Miss (Y/n)."

I heard Kiku's voice from behind. I turned and saw him walking towards me.

"Oh, it's nothing. Thank you very much for coming on this date with me, Kiku." I bowed.
"The pleasure is mine." He bowed back.

The two of us smiled at each other as we looked up.

"So, shall we get going then?" Kiku asked.
"Yes, sure."

We made our way out of the mansion gates and headed for the café. I walked beside Kiku as he slowed his pace down for me. A blissful feeling engulfed my heart. After all, I was alone with the man of my dreams...I couldn't ask for more.

A peaceful silence was between us. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all by it. But I decided that I should start a conversation with him.

"Kiku, do you often go out?"
"I do usually take walks. Sometimes, I would accompany others when they come here."
"That's nice."

We continued talking about many things. I got to know that Kiku had a pet dog back home named Pochi. He promised me to show me his pet someday.

"If he promises to show me Pochi someday...it means that we were now close enough to learn about each other's friends and family..." I thought, blushing.

"We are here, Miss (Y/n)."

The Café Twinkle stood before us. We entered and chose a table by the glass window. Kiku pulled the chair for me as I sat down, then he seated himself in front of me.

After giving our orders, we talked while waiting for the food to arrive. Kiku told me more about Pochi and his habits. He talked about how it would lick Kiku's hands everytime he came back home. I let out a soft giggle.

Kiku's expression softened as he smiled at me. "You are really wonderful, Miss (Y/n)."

I looked at him with a flushed face. I could feel warmth growing on my cheeks as I averted my gaze. "T‐Thank you, Kiku..."

A small smile decorated my face as I started fidgetting mindlessly with my bracelet.

"That bracelet is really cute," Kiku chuckled.
"Yes. Yao gave it to me."

"Mr. China?" Kiku paused.
"Yes, we bought it together last time we went out."
"I...see."

The food finally arrived. I was about to touch my pancakes when Kiku's sudden question took me by surprise.

"How is your relationship with Mr. China, Miss (Y/n)?"

I looked at him. My relationship with Yao? Wasn't it obvious that we were good friends? Maybe he thought that our friendship was still estranged.

"Umm, what do you mean by that, Kiku?" I asked him.

He cleared his throat. "What I mean is that what do you think about him?"

"What I think...?" I wondered aloud. I felt a tender squeeze in my heart as Yao's face drifted before my eyes.

"Yao is...Yao is a special person. He always cares and looks after others when they are in need. He selflessly helps everyone even without letting them know. He has a kind heart and a beautiful soul. I am happy that I met him," I smiled.

"I see..."

Kiku quietly took a bite of his meal before him. I looked at him, confused. He didn't seem to be bothered by the mention of Yao's name. Rather, he seemed calm about it. However his expressions were really hard for me to read so I couldn't understand what he was thinking.

I decided not to stretch the matter anymore. We ate in silence. After finishing, we left the café and took a walk in the calm weather.

"Miss (Y/n), there is a park nearby. Would you like to go there?" Kiku asked.
"Yes, I would love to!"

As we walked, I took a look into my handbag. The chocolates were still in a good condition.

"Today I will confess to him. I will surely tell him my feelings!" I thought to myself.

My determination was absolute. Nothing could stop my feelings from reaching Kiku now.
