After the cleaning, we all sat in the living room, tired. We were covered in dust and our clothes were dirty.

I tried to use my handkerchief, but the dust was stuck to my hair. I sighed.

"Aahh! I hate this! My clothes stink!" Alfred cried out.
"We need to have a proper bath," Arthur said.
"Ve~ Why don't we all take a bath together!" Feliciano suggested.

The countries stared at him and then glanced over at me. I blinked in confusion.

"That's a bad idea, Italy!!" Ludwig bashed at him.
"Ve~ I'm sorry!"

"Hey, we can!" Alfred suddenly stood up.

"W‐What do you mean?!" Arthur stood up as well, his face totally red.

"What I mean is that we can take a bath outdoor! At the beach!"

Everyone stared at him.

It sounded like a good plan actually. That way, we can even enjoy ourselves for a while.

Arthur sighed. "You don't take a bath at the beach, you‐ Wait, where are you taking me? Wait!!"

Arthur yelled as the other countries carried him over their heads and went outside.

The cars were kept ready for us. We came out of the mansion with our stuff and walked towards them.

I stopped when I looked inside one of the cars. "Wait, there isn't any driver here."

Alfred turned to me. "Of course there isn't!"
"Then who would drive?" I asked.

"This isn't any official engagement. So we have decided to drive ourselves to the beach," Arthur said as he sat inside.

I watched as the countries seated themselves one by one in the cars. I was confused which one to choose.

"Hey, (Y/n)! Come with us! Alfred called out to me, standing by the first car in line.
"Sure!" I smiled.

I made my way to the car. Alfred opened the door for me.

"Thank you, Alfred."
"No problem!"

As I turned and looked inside, I paused. Kiku was sitting there by the window, gazing outside. I felt my enthusiasm fading away as I saw that the seat beside him was empty.

Averting my gaze, I sat beside him. He glanced over at me but then looked back outside. I frowned.

I realized that situations have now changed. Kiku doesn't even want to look at me now. However, my heart still hasn't forgotten the love that it had nurtured for him all these years. I still couldn't let go of all those dreams that I once saw of being with him.

But whenever I saw him, the feeling of being rejected always hits me.

Never had I thought that the only man I ever fell in love with could do something like that to me. Maybe...he really did find me unworthy.

"Aiyah! (Y/n), you're here, aru!"

I turned to see Yao heading towards our car.

"I have been looking everywhere for you, aru!" he cried as he opened the car door and sat beside me.

I giggled. "Yao, you worry too much."
"Of course, I do! It's you, after all, aru!"

I smiled on seeing him pout like a little child. Meanwhile at the backseat, Ludwig kept lecturing Feliciano on how to swim.

"If you drown, then I won't come to save you, Italy!"
"Ve~ Don't say like that, Germany. I have brought something with me that would never let me drown! Ta‐da!"

From his bag, he took out a...small shovel?

"Ve~ Sorry, that's for building sand castles...Here, THIS is what will save me!"

Feliciano held out a yellow swimming tube to show everyone.

"Not for long, da," Ivan said, smiling as he deflated the tube with a pin. Feliciano shrieked on seeing his only hope of survival run out of air. He started crying on Ludwig's shoulder.

"Now, now, Italy. At least he didn't do it while you were in the water," Ludwig comforted his friend.

Arthur, who was sitting at the front, scoffed at him. "Will you keep it down now?"

The car was spacious enough to accommodate eight to nine passengers. I looked around, wondering that maybe we are missing someone.

"Okay, guys! It's time to set off!" Alfred said, sitting in the driver's seat.
"Wait, you're driving?!" Arthur cried out.
"Of course, I am! Who else can drive better than me?"
"I'm getting off then."

As Arthur was about to get off, Alfred started the engine and drove the car past the gates.

"W‐What are you doing, you idiot!!"
"Get off on your own risk now," Alfred winked.

We all sweatdropped. I laughed nervously when a voice from outside distracted me.

"Hey! Wait for me! You left me behind!"

The car pulled over. We looked out only to find Francis panting and running in our direction. On reaching the car, he took deep breaths before ranting.

"You all are horrible! How could you all leave your Big brother behind like this?!"

"Ve~ Sorry, Brother France. We thought‐"
"We thought that a bloody frog from the well like you wouldn't come to the ocean," Arthur smirked.

After Arthur's provoking comment, the two countries glared at each other. I decided to calm them down.

"Umm, it's okay now, Francis. We'll all go to the beach together! Come inside!"

"Of course, mademoiselle. Anything for you." Francis blew a kiss at me as he happily skipped and opened the door to the backseat. His change of aura didn't surprise us much.

"Alright, guys! Let's...go!"
