(Y/n) brushed her long silver hair in front of the mirror and smiled at the reflection staring back. (By the way, the girl in the picture is you!) She went over to her study table and picked up the letter which was addressed to her. Carefully opening the letter once again, she studied every word written in an exquisite handwriting.
Dear (Y/n),
We are delighted to inform you that you have been chosen as a privileged guest at the Hetalia Mansion. You will be spending one month there along with the other countries and receive the opportunity to learn more about their cultures and interact with them. We hope you enjoy your stay there. The girl brought the letter close to her face and kissed it with her soft lips. (Okay, from here onwards it will be the reader's POV)
Your POV :
I raised the letter close to my face and gave it a soft kiss. All my dreams...all my hopes to meet that one man I love...is coming to life.
I placed the letter gently on top of the table and climbed onto my bed. Staring at the ceiling I started thinking about him again.
"I wonder what he is like...or how he looks like..." I wondered aloud.
It was true. I never met him nor did I ever see him before. But I did hear about him. And my heart...it already knows how he is like - a strong, kind-hearted, sensible young Japanese man, who would do anything for the people he loved.
I wonder...Will I be one of the people closest to his heart?
The thought of it brought a blush to my cheeks. I hid my red face under my pink pillow as I could not control my feelings any longer.
Tomorrow was the day I would be going to the Hetalia Mansion. I hope everyone is friendly there. There would be many countries present and I don't want to make a bad impression of myself out there. I decided to go to bed earlier than usual. Turning off the lights, I fell asleep fast, dreaming about Kiku Honda, otherwise known as Japan.
The next day, I put my suitcases on the back of the luxurious black car that had come from the Hetalia Mansion to pick me up.
It was a bright sunny day. I took in a deep breath as a warm breeze gently blew my hair.
"Miss (Y/n), it's about time we leave," the driver said.
"Umm, yes."I turned to my parents who had a worried look on their faces. "Will you be alright, dear?" my mother asked.
"Don't worry mother. I will be okay there," I smiled. As I bid my parents goodbye and was about to enter the car, my father yelled out.
"Don't forget to bring us a suitable son-in-law!"
My head shot at their direction as my face turned a bright shade of red. My parents giggled at my actions while the driver already started the car. I waved at them as the car moved forward and my parents faded into the distance.
The drive took about four hours. I stared at the passing scenery through the window when suddenly my eyes landed on a huge mansion. We were going in that direction.
"Umm, excuse me? Is that the Hetalia Mansion?" I asked.
"Yes, indeed."The big gates opened as the car entered. It was like no other mansion I had ever seen before. The path was lined with flags of all the countries on both sides. There were various exotic flowers and plants in the garden which seemed to be brought from every corner of the world. And the centre, there was a giant statue of the globe. All of these fascinated me.
The car parked at the main door of the mansion. I got out of the vehicle and was about to ring the doorbell when the door burst open all of a sudden and I was greeted with a tomato thrown at my head.
