I watched from afar as the countries played in the water. Most of them had already changed into their swimming costumes.

"Miss (Y/n), won't you get changed?"

I turned and saw a girl with blonde bob‐cut hair and green eyes walk up to me.

"Umm, I'm sorry. I recognize you but I didn't get your name," I apologized.

She giggled. "It's alright. I am Liechtenstein but you can call me Lili." She gave me a warm and heartful smile.

Lili seems a nice girl, I thought, smiling to myself. The pink polka‐dotted swimsuit looked cute on her and matched with the ribbon on her head as well.

"The changing room is free now so you can go," she said.
"U‐Uh, yes..." I replied nervously.
"Is there something wrong?" Lili looked at me, confused.

I blushed in embarrassment. "I don't wear too much revealing clothes. I don't know if I would look good in my swimming attire..."

Lili let out a soft giggle. "Don't worry. I'm sure you would look ‐"

"You would look fantastic!"

Before she could complete, a female voice interrupted from behind. As I turned, someone grabbed my hand and started running, taking me with her.

"W‐Wait, where are we ‐"

The tan‐skinned girl didn't stop. "Looking at you, I'm positive you'll look great in a swimsuit! This is coming from a country in the Tropics who sees people in swimsuits everyday!"

"Miss Seychelles, please help her with it!" I heard Lili call from back.
"You can count on me!" the girl named 'Seychelles' replied.

On reaching the changing room, I let out a sigh and started putting on my swimming costume. It was a white two‐pieced swimsuit which matched the colour of my hair. After getting done, I stepped out.

"Wow! You look gorgeous!" Seychelles said as she saw me.

I held myself together since it felt too revealing for me. "You think so...?" I blushed.
"Yup! Now let's go enjoy!" she beamed.
I smiled on her reassurance.

We headed towards where everyone was. The countries seemed to be having a volleyball competition. Two teams of five on each side played the ball into the other side. I saw Francis and Arthur on opposite teams throwing the ball at each other like canonballs.

"You won't win against me, frog!"
"Say that to me while kissing my feet after I win, England!"
"You will be kissing MY feet, you bloody git!"

I sweatdropped.

"Ve~ Look! (Y/n) is finally here!" Feliciano called out after noticing me.

Everyone turned to me.

Not figuring out what to do, I shyly waved at them.

Francis turned to me. "Why, mademoiselle, you loo‐ " A volleyball to his face kept him from completing his sentence.
"Haha! I won, you bloody frog!" Arthur laughed at him.

Soon, the match ended with Arthur's team winning against Francis' by 2 points. Then everyone decided to play a game of breaking the watermelon.

"Which way should I go?" I asked, blindfolded and holding a stick.

"Bella, go right!" Lovino said.
"No, don't go! That's the opposite direction, aru!" Yao called.

"Wait, whom should I listen to?" I asked in confusion.

"Left!"
"Straight!"
"No, right!"
"Up!"

After following all the random directions, I lifted my wooden stick up and swung it down hard.

"Woah!! Dudette, that's mean!"

I took off my blindfold and saw that I almost hit Alfred! Everyone bursted out laughing. I quickly bowed. "I'm sorry, Alfred! I didn't mean to!"

"Nahahahaha! It's okay, dudette! I'm a hero after all!"

After taking turns in breaking the watermelon, Miss Elizabeta finally broke it with her frying pan.

"Umm...where did she get that from?" I asked.
"She always carries it around," Mr. Roderich sweatdropped.

We all took a slice of the watermelon and started digging in.

"It's delicious!" I exclaimed.

"It really is, aru," Yao came by my side. He was wearing a white T‐Shirt over his red trunks.

"Yao, why are you wearing a T‐Shirt?" I asked him.
"Well..." he hesitated a bit before replying. "I won't be swimming so I thought of putting it on, aru."
"Oh, I see..."

Why won't he swim though? Is it possible that...he doesn't know how to swim? The four thousand year old country doesn't know how to swim?"

"How cute," I smiled to myself.

"Hey, China! Come here and play with us!" Some countries called him.
"Coming! I'll be right back, (Y/n)."
"Okay."

Yao went off towards them. I looked around at everyone happily playing and chatting. But something was missing. Or rather, someone was missing.

I realized Kiku wasn't here.

"That's strange. Where can he go?" I searched around for him. I soon found out that he went back to the mansion. He told that he wasn't feeling too well.

I knew something was off with him. If only I realized it sooner...

I frowned.

"Woah, that was a big wave!"

I heard someone cry out and turned. The countries playing by the sea got totally drenched as a big wave hit them. I noticed Yao being one of them.

I ran up to them. "Are you all okay?"

One of them gave a thumbs‐up. "It isn't a big deal! Don't worry!"
"Yeah, it was fun actually."
"The wave was so huge!"

I turned to Yao.

"Are you okay, Yao?"
"Shì! I just need to get changed, aru," he replied.

He came out of the water and headed towards the changing room.

Just then I realized I had brought some towels with me. I could give one to Yao to dry himself off.

I headed towards the changing room with a dry towel for Yao and knocked on the door. However, the door wasn't locked. I pulled it open.

"Yao, I ‐ "

My eyes went wide. Yao's bare back was facing towards me. He was in the middle of changing his T‐Shirt. But what stunned me wasn't his half‐naked body...

Across his entire back ran a deep and long scar.
