I groaned as I rolled in bed, slowly opening my eyes.

This is...my room. But...wasn't I with Yao last night?

My eyes finally shot open and I sat up in bed.

"Did Yao bring me here?" I blushed.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. "(Y/n)? Did you wake up, aru?" Yao's voice came from the other side.

"Umm...yes!"

The door opened and Yao came in.

"Zǎoshang hǎo, aru!" he smiled.
"G-Good morning, Yao!" I stammered on seeing him.

He sat on my bed next to me. My throat went dry, recalling the night before. Me leaning against Yao...his warm embrace...

"I came here to sa- (Y/n)! Why are you so red, aru??" Yao cried out.

My face was burning hot while remembering yesterday's incidents. His outburst made me snap out of my thoughts and look at him.

"What? Oh, it's nothing, Yao!" I gave him a nervous smile.

"That's it, aru! I have finally decided!"
"W-What did..." I tried asking him but couldn't get my words out from embarrassment.

Yao faced me with a serious face.

My body froze in anticipation. What was he going to say?

Leaning in a bit, he finally said. "No more thinking about the meeting till afternoon, aru."

I looked at him, puzzled.

He stared back at me with determination in his eyes. I let out a small sigh and giggled.

"Alright, Yao," I smiled.

His face lit up and he stood up almost immediately. "Then let's go have breakfast, aru! You are getting too much worried about the meeting, and it can affect your health. No more thinking about it, okay, aru?"

Yao...

It's not the meeting that's making me nervous right now...it's you...

I gazed at his charming smile and felt my heart feel fuzzier. A warm sensation overwhelms my body whenever Yao does something for me. I smiled, knowing what this feeling was.

"Let's go then, aru!"

He offered his hand, and I took it to get off the bed.

Walking to the dining table, I looked around and observed that Yao had already cleaned the entire house.

I wonder if there's something for me to do?

After a peaceful breakfast, Yao and I took some bread to feed the birds in the courtyard.

The tranquil morning was quiet and relaxing. We sat down on the outer corridor where we sat last night, and threw bits of bread before the small birds. I smiled, looking at them trying to bite bigger chunks of bread than them.

"Hey, Yao?"

He turned to me.

I gave him the brightest smile. "I love being with you!" I said, with a small blush on my cheeks.

Yao's face turned crimson, almost matching his clothes. He bashfully looked away, his eyes wide in bewilderment. I softly chuckled at his cute reaction.

I don't just love you being with you, Yao...

I love you.
