It was a chilly autumn afternoon.

Yao and I have been dating for a few months now. We often spent time together going on dates whenever he wasn't busy at the mansion, or talked to each other over phone for long hours.

Every moment spent with him was filled with blissful memories and joy. Whenever I looked at him, his bright eyes sparkled with childlike cheerfulness, but whenever he held me close to him, his strong arms embraced me protectively.

We couldn't have been happier.

Soon came up the decision of introducing Yao to my parents. I told him how much my parents were eager to meet him, to which he was surprised.

"Really, aru? They want to see me?" he asked me while we were walking in the park.
I nodded, smiling.

He gazed up at the sky. "Meeting my girlfriend's parents...this is a first time for me, aru," he lightly chuckled.

I watched his brown orbs twinkle under his softened gaze as a warm smile spread on his lips. His loosely tied hair gently brushed against his skin, making him look even more charming than he already was.

A soft blush spread on my cheeks as I realized that we were about to take our relationship a step furthur.

Yao turned to me. "What did you tell them about me, aru?"

"Everything! And they already like you!" I beamed.
"Aiyah..." Yao rubbed the back of his neck, embarrassed.

"In fact," I sweatdropped. "They like you a bit too much..."

"Eh, aru?" Yao stared in confusion.

After returning home from the Hetalia Mansion, I told my parents everything that happened. Needless to say, my father was about to dash off to Japan to beat up Kusuhara with his golf club when I got to the kidnapping part. But I still somehow managed to calm him down.

I looked away, embarrassed, as I told them about Yao too.

My father adjusted his glasses and pretended to wipe off his tears. "My little angel has grown up so fast, she picked up a boy in less than a month!" he sniffed.

"Father!" I cried out, blushing.

My mother softly giggled. "But I'm glad to hear you found yourself a nice man, dear," my mother placed her hand on my shoulder.

A shy smile crept to my face as I nodded.

Finally cutting out his acting, my father leaned forward and asked me about Yao. His eyes lit up with excitement as he threw one question after another at me like baseballs.

"What's he like, (Y/n)? Is he nice? Does he treat you well? Did he really save you from the gang? Does he look good?"

"Wait, father, that's a lo―"

Before I could complete my sentence, my mother took my hands in hers and looked at me with tearful eyes as she joined my father in the questionnaire.

"Does he love you? Will he promise to take care of you? Are you planning to marry him? Will you be happy with him? Will you miss us?"

I stared at the two of them who seemed so emotional as if they were seeing me off at my wedding.

"Y-Yao's really kind and caring..." I stammered through my words as I told about him.

I told them about his innocent approach to the world and also his wise perception of everything around him. His kindness towards others, his attitude on never giving up, his strength to protect his loved ones...everything about him that made me love him.

After I finished, I looked at my parents in confusion.

They were crying as if they hit jackpot.

"(Y/n)! Marry this boy now!!" my father pleaded.
"(Y/n), we'll accept him as family right now!" my mother cried.

I sweatdropped.

"So, that's what happened," I told Yao.
"I see, aru..." he nervously laughed.

Suddenly, he held my hand and pulled me into arms, making me stumble onto his chest. I looked up to see him warmly smiling at me.

"It isn't a bad idea to get married soon, aru. Don't you think, Mrs. Wang?" he seductively whispered.

My face turned into a deep shade of red staring into his passionate gaze, as I hid my face in his chest and squealed. Yao chuckled and hugged me tighter.

The afternoon was chilly, but for me it was filled with warmth and love.
