Chapter 29 - Interrogation

Patrick didn't want to open up to his mother, his mother had to let him be and went back to her room, she wandered what has happened to her son, why will he not want to open up to her about, "why the girl didn't tell him about her pregnancy and her grandchild, what's happening?", Mama Patrick taught, she went back to her room and retired to sleep, since Papa Patrick was already fast asleep in their room.

The next morning Mama Patrick couldn't keep calm any more she called her two daughter whom where around, her last daughter and most senior daughter, likewise her husband, she brief them and told them,
"Patrick as being behaving strangely did any of you noticed about it", they all said No, then she continued,

"I had to confront him and can you belief that Patrick as a child outside, without our knowledge about it, without any of us knowing",

"What !!" They all shouted,

"Is possible mom, you know brother is rich and these girls will want to go wild becoming his babymama so as to get more money from him and create a bond with him, even though he doesn't want her anymore", Cindy Patrick immediate younger sister spoke,

"I don't belief that, My son Patrick as a babymama, am telling you he doesn't even know about the pregnancy or the baby, until this moment", Mama Patrick refute,

"What are you talking about, you mean Patrick as a child, out wedlock, is not possible, he must be joking, where is he?", Papa Patrick asked,
"Patrick, Patrick", Papa Patrick told his last daughter to go and call her big brother for him.

Patrick was still in his room, he wasn't ready to go back yet to the city, he still had a week off, although he could go back, but he wasn't yet ready to face Anita.

His sister came Knocking at his door, she told him, "Brother, father request you see you now",
Patrick frowned, he doesn't even want to go out yet, why was his father disturbing him, if he need anything can't he tell his servant to get it for him, he sighed stood up and went out to see his dad.

"Your mother said, you have a child outside, is that true?" Patrick frowned hearing what his father just asked him.

*Dad, is true..", Patrick said,

"What!", They all exclaimed.
"Who is she and where's she from?", His father asked him,

"Brother is she that Billionaire daughter I see on the news with you?", Patrick frowned hearing what is babysis also called Amanda just said.

His mother was quiet all thru.

"No she's not the one", Patrick answered drinking a bottle of water, he came out with, he sat down, since his own family had decided to call a meeting on his head.

"Then who is she?", His sister Cindy asked,

"Hmm!", Patrick sighed and continued,
"She's not from these village, but from the neighboring village".

"Hmm, no wonder he stays long out, and keep late nights", Mama Patrick thought then she asked him,
"Then where have you meet her, where is she I need to see the baby, I need to see them son".

'Not again', is there no way I can avoid all these their questioning Patrick thought.

"Son answer your mother? Where is the girl, and why haven't you brought her home", he heard his father say.

"Dad, it was all a mistake, she's still angry with me, and will not want to come here with me, Am so sorry but that's the truth", Patrick replied his father,

"But why is she angry with you, did you not date her", his mother inquired, Patrick just looked at his mom with pained eyes and said nothing, he stood up and left, and went back to his room,

His mother wanted to call him back, but seems his father understood Patrick's plight, he told his wife to "let him be, he will sort things out for himself and bring her to come see us when it right",

Mama Patrick looked at her husband, off course she was not surprised at his speech, that's how he always talk even on serious matters, she shooked her head and went in.

Chris had settle all he was doing in the city obviously he misses Tina so much, he can't wait to make her his wife, he feared that one day, Patrick might come back for her too, since Patrick had previously told him that he still loves Tina so much over Anita.

Chris frowned, thinking about the possibility of if Patrick where to come back for Tina, he shaked his head thinking.

Tina is really charming and beautiful he thought, "no wonder Patrick couldn't resist her, I wish I had meet her before him, well is not too late though", Chris consoled himself and dialed Tina's number wanting to hear her voice, the last time he had tried calling her phone was switched off, so he decided to try calling her again and it ring.

Tina was busy at her seamstress place, now she can practically sew some simple cloth, her phone rang and she went to pick it up,
"Hello", she said into the receiver
"Hello babe, how you doing?" Chris asked,
"Am fine, how you too", she asked him
"Am good, missing you already",
Tina smiled hearing what Chris said,

"Didn't you miss me?", Chris asked her
"Off course I do, I really miss you, it been long, hoping to see you" Tina said

"When will you be visiting the village again", Tina asked
"Hmm, I don't know yet, will you like to come visit me?", Chris asked eager to hear her answer

"Well that will be nice, but that's if my.mother will allow me", Tina said,

"Why?, Ain't you an adult" Chris probe

"Hmm!, Tina sighed"

"Is okay, I will try and create time to come see you, I will get someone to cover for me while am not around, I really miss you and I want to see your lovely face again", Chris said

"Okay, I will be looking forward to your coming, do take care", Tina said while she ended the call kissing him goodbye over the phone.

Tina was grateful she hadn't seen Patrick since that time he had visited her Madam's shop, sometimes she stared at the opposite direction of the road, where Patrick had previously parked his Jeep the last time he had visited, wandering if the Jeep will reappear , obviously not, she pray he doesn't show up again in her life.
