Meredith sighed staring at her phone, she scrolled through the old photos, memories she never quite could ever come close to deleting.

"Come on babe, I know you're all tired out but I promised you a fantastic date today." Meredith moaned softly into her pillow, as lips trailed down her naked back.She smiled into the white pillow

"We can just stay in, we've been doing every little thing this place has to offer." She mumbled , not bothering to open her eyes.

A soft hand trailed down her naked spine "Have I told you how beautiful you are lately?" Meredith blushed "not only your appearance .. everything about you mer, your mind is so intoxicating.." whispered the ravenette "it makes it terribly difficult to look away."

Meredith turned when she found herself staring into warm blue eyes "You know we already had sex, multiple times there's no need to flatter me anymore."

Blake chuckled softly "Ah.. well there's never not any reason I should stop, the sex is phenomenal.. but I enjoy your company more.." she admitted "You're different.." Meredith shook her head

"Until you meet the next girl, save her and feel the same way" she remarked dryly. "Your sweet words and accent don't fool me Blake." She joked but there was slight insecurity hidden in her words, she convinced herself this was nothing but a summer fling, the younger girl would forget about her, it wouldn't work..they wouldn't work.

Blake stared at her for a short while "You're crazy." She settled with "Now up your get, we have a full day planned , and I need to teach you to swim"

"Meredith?" Meredith blinked back the memories and turned to the man on her bed, his full thick hair tousled from sleep, his smile was dreamy, his eyes were the same as hers but never could quite evoke the same thrill hers did.

"Yeah?" She asked locking her phone and noticed the time "I have to get ready for rounds" she said sliding from the bed "are you joining me or coming in later?" She asked as she pulled out some jeans and a shirt.

Derek leaned back watching the naked blonde rush through the room "I'll come in later, there's no need for me to be there so early" he shrugged "You alright?"

Meredith stopped and turned to him, offering a small smile "I am." She said shortly before heading into the shower.

SGH LOCKER INTERN ROOM

Alex laughed loudly "You're lying there's no way that happened!"

Blake shook her head, and tossed her coat off before grabbing a hanger and hanging it up "I'm serious mate, it happened, I swear but those idiots had it coming, it was the only time mum and dad had to cover something up, you know how those leeches are."

Alex nodded "Yeah , still though you never really got into any trouble as a kid, so I think your dad and mom was happy that you at least acted like a kid for once."

Blake snorted pulling on her scrubs "I think that's the reason my dad got me that car , it was like 'congrats kid, you're finally doing something teenager like'" she muttered with a grin.

Alex shook his head "It's a sweet ride, peoples' going to give you a lot of shit for driving a damn lambo in Seattle on a interns wage."

Blake shrugged it off "I've long learned to ignore peoples' opinions, it doesn't matter. Anyway let's get a coffee we're here too early." She mumbled "I might just die without proper caffeine."
