Blake leaned against the nurses station, her eyes met Jackson who stared at her looking nervous.
"Something on your mind cousin?"She asked writing her notes in the chart.
Jackson shoved his hands in his coat pockets "Since I kinda let Meredith pick you up at the station you've been avoiding me."
Blake hummed "Because cousins don't snitch, snitches are bitches and get stitches." She quipped dryly and smirked "But don't worry I won't give you stitches , not yet anyway.." she noticed a few people staring at them.
"When is the staring going to stop?" Huffed Blake
Jackson shrugged "Well you did give 8 million dollars to the families who lost their Loved ones."
Blake grimaced "Ah yeah.. I forgot about that. I told them to keep it quiet."
Jackson went to answer but they were cut off when their pagers went off "Ooh it's incoming trauma."
It can make you forget who you are. It can burn you, blind you, stop your heart...
Residents lounge
"This morning Owen offered to wash my hair,he told me to eat a grainy nutty bar and I did. And then he booked me into surgery this morning. I'm a bride and I'm going with it.."
Meredith chuckled dryly "You're not cleared, how's he going to manage that?"
Christina shrugged "Not sure, but he'll do it." She looked at Meredith "you were cleared?"
Meredith hummed "I have, my wife got a tattoo. It's a really hot tattoo. Right down her spine and it makes me hot but .." she sighed softly "we haven't been able to have sex.." she groaned softly "I miss it.." she said as they reached the pit and noticed Blake standing beside Jackson in an overgown playfully pushing the each other.
"Blake got a tattoo?what kind?" Lexie asked joining the conversation
"Mm it's a gorgeous flower, and a quote written in cursive. 'Life doesn't allow you to be weak.'" The quote was worrying but she supposed it was Blake's way of reminding herself that life was hard.
And cause massive internal injuries.
"That's kinda intense.." Lexie said
Meredith nodded "Yeah.. are you okay?"
Lexie huffed "I will be as long as everyone stops asking me whether I'm okay or not,"
But for something that happens in only a millisecond ...
"Did you feel different? Like the morning after your wedding and you woke up and had rings on your finger. Did it feel different?"Christina asked
Meredith licked her lips and tilted her head in thought "well.. not immediately because I was woken up with hot sex.." she said remembering the memory "Really hot sex.. but yeah give it time..it just takes time."
