"The scans are clear, can I be hopeful yet?"  Lexie asked staring at the scans of the 12 patients. Twelve patients that has been lucid for the past two weeks, being monitored. No brain damage, no illnesses but Blake hadn't said a single word.

"Winn is coming in today, he's told me he managed to upgrade the brain mapping device. We'll get a clearer picture. Schedule them in order we'll see John Driscoll first."

Lexie sighed "I don't get it, I thought you'd be happy?" She asked her sister in law

Blake turned to face the younger grey "Do you know what makes me happy?" She asked and handed over the envelope containing John and Nicole's test. "Read it."

Lexie furrowed her brow but took out the letter , she stared at writing "Oh god."

Blake chuckled before laughing and hugged Lexie "It's surprising isn't it?"

Lexie laughed happily "Surprising? Its incredible Blake! Have you told anyone?"

Blake shook her head "Until we confirm it with brain mapping I don't want .. to give them false hope. Besides I still need to find out how it even happened and that has me stumped Lexie. My drug literally rewrote genetics." She muttered "I feel like a mad scientist."

Lexie guffawed "Oh you should!"

Meredith dug listlessly into her pasta "Okay what's up with you grumpy?"

Meredith looked up to best friend "I think Blake knows that Andrea likes her, more than just colleagues or friends."

Cristina raised a brow "Huh? How did she tell you something?"

Meredith shoveled the pasta into her mouth, as she remembered what she saw. "She kissed Blake." She mumbled through a mouthful of food.

Cristina blinked "oh shit, well did you confront her? Or did Blake tell you?"

Meredith pursed her lips "No, I haven't seen Andrea since that day and Blake hasn't mentioned it, in fact she doesn't look disturbed and is being her usual self."

Cristina opened her mouth but Lexie came running into the cafeteria making everyone stare at her "Meredith come with me." Lexie said barely able to hold back her excitement. She pulled her sisters arm "Come on."

Meredith sighed and stared longingly at her pasta "what is it Lexie I was really hungry." Lexie said nothing and kept speed walking while dragging her sister to the room Blake was doing the testing. When they reached the room the room was filled with some doctors. Namely Bailey, Richard, Derek , Alex and Jackson.

Cristina was right behind them and when they walked into the room they found both Nicole strapped into a machine, while John was too,

Blake was standing in front of them, while their family members were in the corner.

"Okay John, Nicole this is the moment of truth. You have seen your before scans and my good friend has been able to to put it up and once we get your newest scans we'll see the difference okay?" She looked to her two patients "Ready?"

"Sure doc." John said

"Go ahead Dr.Carmichael."

Blake nodded and turned to Lexie "Lights please Lexie." When Lexie turned off the lights, the rest of the doctors watched on . As the device started to light up "First this was what your brain looked like before." Two separate holograms popped up, Blake zoomed in "This is the Alzheimer's right here," she said pointing to the darkened spots "John had taken the first variation: FV  and Nicole you had a different strain called MG now the difference between the two wasn't all too different both drugs have the compound I created from scratch. Chen C . But Nicole's round had a bit more than yours John." She paused "Give their scans for right now."  Winn nodded and typed a few keys on his laptop, when a newer picture came up Blakes smile was brighter.
