Meredith looked at the black sequenced dress on the bed, accompanied by a new pair of lingerie. She looked over and the note stuck to it.
'Mer, I would love nothing more than take you to prom, but I guess I have to skip this one.

Meredith sniggered at the note and put it against the mirror. She stared at the dress for a moment longer before heading into the walk in closet. When she reached the same drawer she hesitated before opening it. She stared at the item long.. before closing it up with the clothing again.
A sigh left her lips, she didn't know what to feel. She was conflicted, then the entire debacle with Denny and finally finding that her mother was dirty whore that had an affair with a man she admired most her life. A man she called uncle Richard.. was the reason her father left.
She shook her head and started undressing her and left to the shower.

Blake smiled at her date, she was a pretty girl, that was dealt a bad hand, but Blake was determined to make the night one she would never forget. Balke shook her head "Nope.. I've been keeping Camille company" she looked over and saw Richard dancing with his niece while Meredith spoke to Alex at the drinks table "but I guess I'm free now." She winked at Christina before heading over to her girlfriend.
"Hi." She whispered
Meredith looked at her, her eyes trailing down her entire body before reaching her eyes. She flushed lightly "Hi.."
Blake grinned "So.. I came Over here kinda hoping to ask the best looking girl to dance.." she paused "have you seen Bailey?"
Meredith stared at her before laughing "You're such an ass"
Blake hummed and held out her hand "I am, but I'm also an ass that would really love to get a dance with the most beautiful girl in the room.." she paused when the perfect slow song came on "so Dr.Grey May I have this dance?"
Meredith put her hand on Blake's "Of course Dr.Carmichael.." she said with small smile.
Blake smirked and pulled her close, putting her hands hand Meredith's hips, while Meredith wrapped her arms around her neck.
