Surgeons are detail-oriented. We like statistics and checklists and operating procedures. Our patients live because we enjoy following the steps. But as we much as we'd love to always rely on the numbers... The plan... We also know that some of the greatest medical discoveries Have happened by accident.

"why isn't she staying at the townhouse?" Asked Meredith as she dressed and fixed her make up in the mirror.

Blake shrugged "Not sure, besides you said you put the house up for sale babe. So I guess that's why?"

Meredith groaned "Still.. just go wake her, if she wants to catch a ride to the hospital otherwise we'll be leaving her here."

Blake chuckled "Yes dear." Blake pecked Meredith's head and walked to the room Lexie had taken ever since the break between her and mark. She pushed open the door "hey Lexie—"" she halted and stared at the naked woman.

Lexies eyes shot up and she grabbed the sheets "Oh god, oh god..." she yelled

Blake blinked and turned on her heel "Uh.. get ready we'll be leaving in twenty." She walked back to her bedroom where Meredith was now on the bed tugging on her shoes.

"Uh.. I think your sister expected me to be someone else, or maybe she's really into posing naked? Like some kind of subject for a painter?" Said Blake looking at her wife.

Meredith closed her eyes "God she's been sleeping with Alex and he sneaks in and thinks I don't hear him.."

Blake coughed "Ah.. okay..well I'm just going on record and saying your sister is hot, and I shouldn't really say that but I am.. so don't hold it against me.."

Meredith's lips twitched "But I'm hotter .." she stated and smirked when Blake nodded in agreement.

"Yeah. You're hotter.."

Blake couldn't look Lexie in the eye all morning and Meredith was having a field day with it. She teased them relentlessly, she knew Blake wasn't at all interested but it was funny to see her sister so heavily embarrassed by the entire situation.

Blake split from her cackling wife and headed straight for the pit since she was on hunts service for the day but Charles or nose dive intercepted her patient, though the paramedic slipped which caused the patient to fall and hit their head against the ground. Which lead to her this current situation.

A little blue pill for high blood pressure ... Impotence be damned. It's hard for us to accept that it's not always the hard work...

But sometimes we just have to sit back, Relax and wait for the happy accident.

"Yeah, that's what I said. She slipped and the only person liable here is you since you're keeping me from surgery." She said exasperation coating her tone.

She turned and saw another ambulance along with Jackson who was leading an older man out, a man she had last seen just before she left for harvard med.She was about to leave when Christina ran over and tried assessing the man .

"Jackie tell this woman to back off!" His hard voice met her ears and both Jackson looked tired and Harper just looked annoyed by the entire situation. She turned back to Gary "we're done here." She said and started walking off.

When she reached Jackson, his granddad and Christina she heard Christina question the name.
"Jackie?"

Blake came into view and she smiled softly at the man, Jackson always thought he was grouch okay, maybe he was but he was a brilliant surgeon. Jackson looked at her but so did harper.
