Communication is key

Communication. The first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is we grow up, learn our words and really start talking. The harder it becomes it becomes to know what to say or how to ask for what we really need.

Blake stood by the nurses station along with the other interns. Alex hadn't left her side all week, since finding out what happened and also the fact she slept with Addison. She didn't cheat , but god it felt like she did. It wasn't so much that she had sex, because they weren't together but it was more with who she slept with.

"Yang is she eating?" She asked the Asian who looked at her

"I'm not supposed to be talking to you" she paused "but yes, I've been making sure she gets all the sustenance she needs."

Blake nodded and looked over at the woman in question, that ignored her. That has been ignoring her for the past week. She wondered how long it would take for Meredith to forgive her, and if so what did it mean for them. She almost groaned out loud when the elevator doors opened and the happy married couple stepped out.

Alex pulled his friend away "okay let's go I think Bailey wanted us to deal with that thing" he said dragging her away.

Meredith glared at Addison before shaking her head and stalking off with Christina and Izzy following her.

"You know you're going to have to talk to her sooner or later right? I mean it's not like she cheated it's just that she kinda slept with satan." She whispered

Meredith halted "I know alright, it may seem stupid and she didn't cheat but god it feels like she did. I mean out of all the woman in Seattle she had to sleep with her?!" She whisper yelled "I have the right to be upset Christina."

Christina raised her hands in defense "Okay fine, fine you have the right to be upset. But it's been a week. This is worse than Derek. You've been drinking every night and I just think your liver needs a break."

Meredith scoffed "You don't have to stay with me every night, I'm not a kid."

Christina snorted derisively "You're not, the Shepard's are happy, yet you're not allowing yourself to be happy. She loves you, she feels shitty for it, you should just talk." She muttered "her longing looks are really annoying."

Meredith blinked "What?"

Christina rolled her eyes "Those soulful blue eyes are so sad and she looks like a heartbroken mess. Alex hasn't even left her side for an entire week. I mean it's clear his doing as much damage control as I am with you. You're both miserable apart.. so just forgive her and then you can have sex and be happy again. Because even though I don't like bright and shiny, you're seriously depressing."

Meredith sighed "I don't want to talk about it, anyway why did you drag me down here?"

Christina's eyes lit up "Okay.. so we found a case, a really cool and strange case. Izzy and I thought it was needed to uh.. cheer you up." She said looking at Meredith.

"You stole a case you mean?" Countered Meredith with wry smile.

Christina scoffed in response "I prefer borrowed. We borrowed it from psych. The prelims on this is completely unprecedented."

Izzy nodded "and we found it."

"Stole it, but continue." Said Meredith.

"Found. Stole. Hijacked. Whatever. Okay, Meredith behind this door is the coolest medical mystery I have ever seen" said Christina slightly annoyed by Meredith. She led Meredith down the hallway "Now you can walk away guilt free..." she trailed off.

Meredith hummed "Mmm..."

"Or walk through this door, risk your place in the program which could possibly lead to spending the rest of your life serving fries in bad clothing" she paused looking at Meredith "I mean you could have lobster every Tuesday if you just forgave your girlfriend.. but my point is are you feeling rebellious?"
