Number one rule of surgery is limit exposure.
Miranda was in the OR performing a hot chemo lavage and started to explain the procedure to the crowd gathered in the OR and the gallery.
Keep your hands clean, Your incisions small And your wounds covered.
Bailey cleared her throat "'I've removed the tumor and placed the catheters. Now I'm going to flood the abdomen with heated chemo. It allows a greater concentration of drսg to be delivered directly to the affected area. And the heat helps target the cancer cells while leaving the normal cells virtually unaffected. Okay, start perfusion. Okay, uh, we'll place him in trendelenburg. Then reverse trendelenburg as we agitate the abdomen To make sure that the chemo really washes everywhere,"

Christina sat beside teddy , clearly uncomfortable with everything was said between them days before.
"I thought you were leaving?" She hedged not looking at the cardio attending.
Teddy furrowed her brow "The chief asked me to finish out my contract, which finishes in a few weeks." Teddy replied.
Christina nodded and bit the inside of her cheek "I didn't mean what I said.. it was thoughtless..—"
Teddy laughed dryly "Oh you mean like trading Owen like a horse ? Or a baseball card.."
Number two rule of surgery ... Is when rule number one stops working ... Try something else
Christina winced "Yeah.. that was in the heat of the moment, I didn't mean it.."
Teddy looked at her "Fine.. just forget about it."
Because sometimes you can't limit exposure. Sometimes the injury is so bad that you have to cut and cut big.

"Meredith it's clearly gotten worse, I know you enjoy these little sessions you've got going on , but it's clear his an alcoholic." Said Blake calmly as she dressed for the day.
"No, if you report him they'll take his job.." countered Meredith.
Blake stared at her exasperated "Then maybe he shouldn't be drinking on the job!" She said raising her voice.
Meredith's eyes narrowed "Blake if you report him , it'll be the end of his career, you don't give people room for flaws.." Blake scoffed unbelievably "flaws are unacceptable to Mccharming.."
Blake tsked under her breath "Don't Mccharming me, and don't throw me that bullshit either. I know flaws are human but this isn't just a flaw.."
Meredith grit her teeth "Well Mccharming is being a mcass."
Blake laughed dryly "Oh god, Meredith this has been going before the holidays , Joe called you on New Year's Eve because he was drunk out of his mind, this isn't a flaw , this is him being an alcoholic. The board needs to know—""
Meredith shook her head "No, I told you that as my wife not Derek's little protege. You don't get to go to the board, you don't get to tell Derek. Because we both know he wants the chiefs job."
Blake stared at her wife in disbelief "This has nothing with me being mentored by Derek, in fact I don't even—""
"Wife, that's who I told. I didn't tell the surgeon, I didn't tell Derek's protege, I told my wife. We have vows and those vows mean you can't tell anyone.." interjected Meredith.
Blake closed her eyes "You can't .."
"I can and I have." Said Meredith smugly.
Blake chuckled dryly "Oh anytime you're like this it makes me horny you know." She muttered and closed the distance between them and kissed Meredith hard, she pushed the smaller doctor onto the bed and wildly started kissing her down her neck while Meredith's hands dug into her hair.
