Blake laid on the bed, she sighed softly "Go to sleep, god we've been up all night." Meredith whined covering her head with a pillow.

Blake laughed quietly closing her laptop and put it aside "Alright, so Stark's a bitch isn't he?"

Meredith hummed and curled into Blake's arms "Totally , but alex and I kicked ass in that OR."

Blake closed her eyes "Yeah, yeah you did." She whispered softly.

"She worked at joes as a bartender and now she goes fishing." Said Meredith dumping her cereal angrily in her bowl "She doesn't do wilderness, there's no bathrooms out there, what's next? Bowling with Bailey? Cooking classes..—"" Meredith stopped and looked at the woman opposite her who wasn't paying attention "It's like talking to bloody wall."

Meredith picked one the puffs and tossed it at her wife "Blake."

Blake frowned and looked up "Yeah?"

Meredith sighed tiredly "You're not listening to me, I'm talking about the woman that saved your life, so this is important you don't get to ignore me."

Blake sighed and sent off her last email after proofreading it quickly. "I'm listening, what I'm hearing is that Cristina needs to try a bunch of things before she realizes none of it will be as fulfilling as surgery.. now I'm really busy trying to sort through applicants for this trial Meredith so I'd appreciate if you didn't throw breakfast at me."

Meredith scoffed "Fine, don't care, it's not like she saved your life or anything,"

Blake pursed her lips "Is this going to be a constant thing? Because if so then maybe you should've just given up and said 'don't worry Cristina I'll find someone else, maybe Derek's available.'" She said without thinking, she ignored the hurt on Meredith's face and stood up "I'm going in I have a few interviews to do." She said grabbing her laptop and left the kitchen.

"What do you know about Alzheimer's? Is Neuro a field you're interested in?" She asked her latest resident. Everyone was more of the same, each answer was scripted and she was sure half of these people were only interested in the glory.

"And I think it's a really great trial to take part in, it could help so many people and—" Blake hummed disinterestedly.

"Thank you for coming. I'll consider it." She smiled falsely at the man. She watched him leave and once he was out of sight she rubbed her face tiredly.

"Who would've thought this was so hard.." she muttered. When the door opened again, she was ready to ask the same questions but when her eyes met milky brown. She furrowed her brows in confusion.

"Dr.Rojas." She said in surprise.

Andrea sat down in the seat opposite her "How's the search going for competent team?"

Blake tilted her head "It's going, I've got a few thoughts and the external crews been sorted but.." she paused "Not that I have a problem but why are you here?"

Andrea smirked "Someone usually comes to oversee which trials we fund. And usually it's someone from the board to ensure that we've made the right decision.."

Blake nodded slowly "So I can expect one of your board members present in my lab?"

Andrea laughed "Well since I personally pushed for this, you'll be dealing with me exclusively.."
