"What she did doesn't invalidate my trial, yes what she did was wrong." She paused staring at hunt and Richard "But she didn't invalidate my trial, the drug works, they gave me the emergency waiver and Adele Webber was given the drug and the last patient for my trial.."

Hunt pursed his lips "She tampered with your trial, stole drugs from your lab .."

Blake grit her teeth "Do you think I don't know that?!" She asked angrily "I know what she did, I know .. don't stand there and tell me what she did I know but are you going to run off to the F.D.A? Have them stop giving me the go ahead to provide the formula to save thousands of other people ? Is that what you want?"

Richard stared down "We're going to have to reevaluate her place at Seattle —""

Blake hit her hand against the table "Don't sit there and play Martyr Richard.. you want to fire Meredith? I'll be going with her and then I'll go right to the board that your emotionally manipulated my wife and used your relationship with her to get your wife into my trial." She hissed angrily.

Hunt blinked "So the chief knew about this?"

Blake laughed dryly "Yeah.. so fire Meredith and I'll be sure to end your tenure as chief of surgery. She loves it here, I can probably be fine with a job anywhere else .. but you fire her and you won't be losing just Meredith you'll be losing the woman that pioneered the trial of the century." She said and walked out of the office when she exited she found Meredith standing there.

"Whatever happens." She paused and kissed her wife softly "I choose you." She said quietly.

Meredith blinked away her tears "I know I love you."

Blake pursed her lips "I love you too." She said and closed her eyes "Just .. just stick to your story okay?"

Meredith nodded "okay."

Blake was on a war path , she searched every place Alex normally hung out, she found him talking to Jackson in the hallway, when she saw him everything just went red. She pushed past Jackson and gripped Alex's scrub top and pushed him into the wall earning a wide eyed look from the staff.

"If she gets fired, if she loses her license because you were butt hurt that your little whore stole your job and ran off to Africa we are through.. you hear me?You had no right!" She seethed

"Come on they're not going to—""

Blake's eyes hardened "I want your shit out of my house by the end the of the day Karev. You're supposed to be my brother and have my back but right now I can hardly recognize you.." she hissed

Alex scowled "You say I'm your brother but you're choosing to protect her? Even after what she did?"

Blake narrowed her eyes "That's my wife, I will choose her, I will always choose her. Just like you decided years of friendship was nothing when you did what you did."

Alex grit his teeth "She could've ended your career!"

Blake clenched her jaw "It wasn't your place, you had no right to use it as some sick plot to win first place.you weren't protecting me, I don't need your protection, I fixed it, and you.. god Alex." She said as her eyes watered

Alex closed his eyes "I'm sorry I'll tell hunt.."

"Blake come on people are watching." Jackson said trying to take his cousin off Alex

Blake unwound her fingers from his scrub top "End of the day Karev, out of my house." She spat and knocked Jackson's arm off her.

"Let me go Jackson." She said and walked off.
