The place where two seas meet,
You see it in your dreams,
Guided by some unknown power,
Meeting a lost love like a blooming flower,
The place where two seas meet,
Changing waves and winds, lessons unto new sailors to teach,
Still recalling those moments from long ago,
When they grow old, minds vast, without depth from all they know,
The places where two seas meet,
All who witness know of its reach,
All you sail around the world, far and wide,
You feel the drop in temperature or the subtle shift in waves and tide,
A bird flies ahead and cares not for territory bounds,
A bird looks on and see the romance, the terror in these waters,
For all the beauty and fear lurking beneath, uttering not a sound,
And the humans aboard, who find their courage and search for discovery never falters,
It fills the bird with pride, oddly, happily, truly.
