February 17th, 2016:

As I charged into my small changing room, I hear Yoona follow me.

"What is it with these f*cking clothes," I say angrily, taking the romper off so aggressively it just ripped some more and basically fell off me, "how tight did we need it? Am I not already skinny enough?"

Yoona quickly closed the door so no one could see inside or enter.

"Y/N compose yourself," Yoona reprimands, picking up the romper from the floor.

"Compose?" I say in an eerily calm tone, "I've had to be composed for the whole performance".

"Put some clothes on and go review the performance with the boys," Yoona instructed, not indulging my temper tantrum, "we can talk after. Don't cause a scene".

I let out an angered sigh but do as told. I didn't need to get in big trouble, that would only lead to unnecessary issues. I could sense staff were already lingering around to see a scene.

I put on the outfit I had worn to the performance: white pants with a thin brown belt, a white bandeau, and a fluffy brown jacket. I then go join the boys, who looked like they were waiting for me. They smiled when they saw me, not mentioning my little eruption.

"Ready?" Hobeom asked me, with an unimpressed look. I nodded, lips pursed.

He handed Hoseok his phone and the group crowded around him.

"Y/N's right," Hoseok says seriously, "we did start off a little too strong, but I think we still managed it well. We listened to each other's energy".

"Good job recovering," Jimin says as the front of the romper slipped forward as I switched spots with Jungkook and had to throw myself back while adjusting the outfit.

"You need to look at the camera here, Jungkook," Hoseok comments as Jungkook did his solo bit before we all started Dope.

I started my solo part after Jungkook and couldn't help but look away. This was so embarrassing.

"It's not as bad as I thought," Hoseok nods, "considering the outfit malfunction, you did well Y/N".

I just nodded, finally looking again as I guessed he commented after I had finished my solo part. I continue to cringe through rest of the performance. All my movements were smaller and less impactful. It wasn't because of my stature or gender; I had proven those things didn't stop me from performing just as well as the boys. No, it was all because of that stupid romper.

"Well..." Namjoon says as Hoseok handed Hobeom his phone back, "I'm pretty sure next time you won't be wearing that thing... don't be too hard on yourself Y/N".

"I ruined the whole performance," I say upset, "and this was my first performance since the surgery... It's embarrassing".
