Making way to the Plarinu Estate.

As promised, my brother took it upon himself to teach me how to conduct myself outside of the palace for when the time came.    Though I had to say most of his "lessons" were hijacked by the royal etiquette instructor herself, Ivka who specialized in matters such as this and had even previously taught my older brother before being passed down to me.

Despite being taken over, Tychon would always interject with a comment of his own, scolding me whenever I would become bored and uninterested in the subject material; it was as if in a way, he was looking out for me and attempting to oversee my studies so much that my manners didn't leave a bad impression on anyone who dared open their mouths to comment.

You would not believe the number of hours I spent learning how to bow formally to those of higher rank than me. Sitting properly for a traditional dinner with the King and other entities of foreign nations, greeting nobles of varying degrees in the nation, napkin placements, fork adjustments, when and how to cut particular served foods, properly walking during ceremonious events.

It was all too much honestly, not like my readily-formed brain couldn't take it, but honestly, in my life, I had never needed much of this kind of information. Also to mention, it was all varying from what was previously regarded as "classy" in my old world so it was something that took time to get used to.

At this point, I no longer wanted to waste my time and energy leaving the palace if this is what the preparation entailed.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid in the short time I've been here I've become rather spoilt.

Thankfully, the time came for our trip outside of the palace and I couldn't lie, I was extremely nervous; I knew of nothing outside of the palace walls and my brother was unfortunately not going to be attending the short outing with us as he had other royal matters to attend to with father, so it would just be mother and I and a few of her own attendees and maids.

I had no idea what everything looked like beyond the opulence of the castle I had called home. I also continued to suffer from this never-ending nagging feeling at the back of my mind in regard to meeting this unknown family; it pestered me more than I'd like to admit.

"Entering the room is His Majesty, the King of Vesneau. Please advise!" One of the door guards called out suddenly as mother was overlooking my clothing being fitted on my body one last time before we headed out.

I was startled by the sudden shouting of the guard alerting us, but I was even more shocked to find that my father had paid the both of us a visit. In my experience, he could go several weeks to months without seeing me; my mother, on the other hand, I couldn't be too sure.

The room filled with servants and maids alike, all stood attention, doing their own version of curtsying and bowing formally in the presence of my father as he strode into the room confidently as if he owned everything—well he did, but it was clear he didn't mind walking into any room he desired at any time.

My mother smiled warmly at the presence of the King as he stopped short of where I was being cared for and looked over at me with a seemingly observing gaze. I nearly froze under his stare as it was one filled with a very judging manner. His eyes were the same color as the first princes, tangerine orange with ochre mixtures at the outer core of his pupils.
