Open your eyes and look at me, what do you see?

"If you've come to a conclusion, I can only assume it's because you've been watching me from afar, Mr. Ennith."

"I can attest to that."

Mr. Ennith adjusted the tailcoat he had been wearing earlier and pressed himself further into the window beside him at Skellace Estate, our home that we had returned to after the grand opening of the Lunár Galleria had concluded. All of which was a success, I had no doubt that the next day and the following ones after that were going to be seeing an increase in returning customers and individuals wishing to know the delight of having the first department store in Vesneau.

It was now late into the evening, and Mr. Ennith and I could not continue our odd conversation where eyes and ears could be listening, so we left it as it was until we had returned and here we were, inside of the classroom he had spent years teaching me all about the world since I was six or so.

I was now fourteen, Mr. Ennith had been such an integral part of my learning of this new world, it was no doubt he was family at this point. After all, his own son Rhou considered me to be his sister-adjacent sibling growing up alongside seeing us on a daily basis; not many children of commoners had the privilege of doing so.

"Well then..." I perched myself against another window on the other side of the room, right where the fluorescent blue moons blazed a glowing hue into the room shining over the furniture, paintings, and skin of our bodies.

"I'd like you to humor me and tell me what exactly you have managed to decipher of who I really am and who I am pretending to be

"I'd like you to humor me and tell me what exactly you have managed to decipher of who I really am and who I am pretending to be." I finished.

From the corner, Mr. Ennith pushed up his glass spectacles against his face and cleared his throat, "Of course, I may be incorrect about my predictions but I am confident, m'lady is truly a genius past this world's expectations." He began.

"Don't give me too much credit. I wouldn't consider myself a genius in comparison to anything. I simply know more things than the average individual does and use it to my advantage." I replied.

"Hm."

Mr. Ennith nodded and continued speaking. "The first case in which I wanted to mention is your affiliation with the Cotwen Pharmacy. I have no doubt you have created innovative medicines that propelled the medical and scientific community to new heights. The abolishment of the raging diseases of scarlet fever and cholera just shortly after you begin going downtown was eyebrow-raising, but even more so of a fact when your father had told me you were the original creator of the dye."

I'm not surprised father mentioned me to his closest colleagues of my discovery. After all, even Aunt Thaleia had caught wind of such matters and as a result, put a few pieces together herself and figured I curated the beauty brand I kept sending her and my cousins; I would've been a little offended if such highly intelligent individuals hadn't caught on after a certain period of time.
