"It's good to finally see you again in the flesh, your Highness. It seemed nearly a fantasy to recall that you were truly alive only through the words of the Crown Princess." The Baroness stated.
"Really! It feels as if we are looking at an apparition right now!" Soril clapped gleefully.
Tychon scratched the back of his head awkwardly, the green color of his disguised hair and peach-colored eyes were a foreign entity in itself to gaze upon, but we knew it to be him, small inklings of personality traits that only someone who was extremely close to him would be able to be picked up on, others not so much.
"I can assure you I am everything but an apparition, but I can see how my disguise could cause others to believe such a thing." Tychon touched a small spot on his forearm and we all watched as his disguise fell apart at a moment's notice. His platinum hair and firey orange eyes returned to their natural state, revealing his true self.
Beside him, Andrew tugged at his elder brother's ears curiously, "No physical glamor? How did you manage to pull that off?" He inquired.
But it was Fenrir who answered that question, "There are levels to glamors, the lowest form being the ones that can simply be put on and activated to change appearance, voice, and more. Advanced glamors take the form of small unique runes drawn and placed on the skin by a mage or sage... these are hard to dispel especially if they are created by a high-powered sorcerer." He explained.
Tychon agreed, "Thank you for the explanation. I have grown close with professors at the sorcerer's academy and they assisted with this so I wouldn't have trouble coming here. Thankfully I did manage to slip in here giving via the march off the impression that I was hired to help from the Selene Company which the Baroness had contracted to work on this battle." He stated.
The Baroness nodded, "If you intend to stay here and fight, then you must be under my sorcerer division to avoid detection and questioning. I will keep you by my side as an assistant of sorts to ensure you have the authority to be in certain places despite your alleged stature." She advised him.
"I thank you kindly for your assistance, Baroness Dione."
"My help and loyalty extend to you as an effect of the crown prince and princess. This is only the start of very explosive things to come. If we are successful in this feat, I hope you all have a cohesive plan to terminate that good-for-nothing king off the throne for the crimes he has committed against the nation." She said.
Adrasteia crossed her arms over her chest, "My hope is that something is done immediately after the feat, the Caliphate must be disturbed by these allegations." She said.
Tychon agreed, "I can understand the frustrations going through most of you now. But rest assured this has already been brought up with the Caliphate as the Empress of Cluyze. No stone will be left unturned. We concluded the best time to make a spectacle of this is after the goal of Eerly is accomplished... after my brother is wed to Lavania to ensure stability when a shift of power is made." He advised.
It was always essential to ensure stability during times such as these. Nothing destabilized a country more than war, an assassination attempt, a challenge of authority, or a death of a monarch.
Countries looked at this as a moment of weakness to plot and devise how they could make the best of the situation for their own nation—we could take an example of how the leader of the Espos nation had recently passed and because of the change of power, Vesneau, even as weak as they were able to take back a few towns and villages while the children of the said dictator were to sort things in their own country.
