With the stroke of a brush, all imperfections become flawless.
Kladena. A large vast land filled with many things I could rest my eyes against. I found myself progressively intrigued the longer I watched through the eyes of my raven, the way of life of the people in the coastal-like territory was the complete opposite of the uptight and pompous nature of the major city Klocsas.
I saw many opportunities within the unique structure streets, the overgrown wildlife against the decorated buildings that nearly sat on top of each other at times. I was surely set on obtaining the land after surveying more details.
Having a raven as my eyes served as a perk when gathering information about a distant land. Not only was there an ability to fly around undetected, but animals had a different sense when touching foreign land. They were able to pick up the prosperity of the land meaning how fertile the lands were, and the quality of the wildlife, food, and even other creatures there.
Everything Eclipse picked up from the ideal soil needed to grow fresh crops, the quality of the water in which trading ships would stop by to import and export specialized materials, down to the overall composition of the land was ideal to make it a hub where people could frequent if they desired warmer weather and a good time.
I could really turn the sleepy section of Vesneau into something quite popular if I got the chance; the population there wasn't as colossal as the city I currently was in due to most work a commoner would need in order to provide their families, was located here. But if I was able to make enough businesses to make the land more prosperous than it is, I would be able to offset and bring workers back to this natural area.
The city was far too crowded anyways.
Another thing that caught my eye, in particular, was the influx of the hemp plant that Kladena currently had. There were not nearly as many workers harvesting the crop as they didn't see much use for it other than food products here and there, but I knew the possibilities the plant could produce given the chance.
Rope, textiles, clothing, shoes, food, paper, bioplastics, insulations, and biofuel. There wasn't a shortage of the products that could be made from it and they had a plethora of the stuff. With the right investments, I'm sure we could have this plant working to our benefit. I thanked my diligent studies on the vegetation for my ability to pick it out instantly when Eclipse's eyes hovered over the less cultivated parts of Kladena.
Much work would need to be done, but it was possible and it would create many jobs as well. I just needed to get my hands on it once I became of age.
It was one of the reasons right after I got up the next morning, I hurried and wrote a letter and sent it off with my raven Twilight to Countess Ophosa explaining that we needed to keep an eye on the land for purchasing in the near future; I'm sure she would agree with me after all the details I had observed from just watching overnight.
