And so the new era of reconstruction begins as the world awaits.

"That painting fascinates you greatly, does it?"

"Well yes, I'm oddly mesmerized by it. Then again, I have always been rather intrigued by artists. They have talents which I do not possess."

"Do they? I for one think you are very talented."

I turned to face Andrew who was leaning against the doorframe that led to our villa's private ensuite bathroom. His arms were crossed over his slightly exposed chest and his gaze was intimately focused on where I lay in bed caressing the gifted picture from the young lord, Sveinn.

"I may be talented in other realms, but artistic expression is where I fall flat. It's why I enjoyed going to places where I could see other's work... it is calming in a sense to see what other hands can create that don't necessarily involve a scientific calculation." I replied, my eyes still remaining focused on the portraiture.

The gifted frame was gorgeous and ornately decorated at the rims with a flurry of beaded gems and finite crystals. But it wasn't the exterior that brought much of my attention, more so the content within that frame; the portrait he had effortlessly drawn of me as if I had been sitting in front of him.

I don't think I've ever personally met or seen Lord Sveinn since ascending the throne, but with one simple glance, he was able to capture my entire essence as Queen Lavania, sitting on the throne in an opulent gown, all encapsulated by my rather lackluster and stoic expression. It always interested me how others saw me through their eyes. I could never tell alone just by observing them, but this was the biggest descriptor I could ever ask for of someone painting me without ever once meeting me in life.

It was a gift indeed. One where I did not need to actively sit and be the object of admiration for several hours on end. His mind surely must be gifted beyond words! One look and he's able to create a scene purely off of my image. I wasn't necessarily eager essentially to make him my consort off his family background, but more so due to the fact that I wanted him to create more images—surely if this was his doing, he'd be the perfect muse to usher in the age of the resurgence of art and culture.

An artistic pioneer.

Maybe this was rather vain of me to thin, but I'd love to see this entire image expanded into a large frame where I could sit somewhere in my bedroom suite at the palace. Or rather yet... maybe somewhere along the many halls of Mirxador so that all others could see!

After all, talent such as this shouldn't be hidden, many should have the opportunity to see it!

Maybe I even wonder if the Lord would be interested in having a gallery opening if I had the opportunity to speak with him more and see his creative process—.
