Silence. Silence covered the table of this evening's dinner like a shrouded cloud of doom. It was probably the most muted our meals have been since I've come to this world. My head moved in a slow mechanical motion in the direction of my older brother. His eyes were dulled into an amused grin—I presumed he was awaiting the result of his treachery. His tall stature mimicked that of almost mother's their shoulders were nearly at a level where they matched meaning that every day he seemed to be growing exponentially; that still didn't negate the fact that he acted like a child.
