Hold on to your breath longer.

"There are currently two Ducal households in the nation. The Duchy of Lunaris held by generations of the Plarinu family and the following, the Grand Duchy of Bellenak, the family of the name Da Eervungs."

I yawned lightly, my eyes slightly tearing and glazing over as it's been several hours since my lessons first began and I was mentally checked out at this point and unwilling to learn any more information that has been thrust at me already during the day.

I wanted to go outside and get some fresh air and take in the scenery, especially with the decent weather. It definitely surpassed the stuffy study room I was currently in at the moment.

I had grown fatigued. With the mind of a grown man pretending to be a young child, I finished my work briskly without thinking about it much which only prompted my workload to increase; now they were calling me an exceptional child, but in all fairness, I just took a bit of Mellie's advice and brought myself up to speed with things so I wouldn't be left behind when she spoke of things during our private time together.

As she had stated, the better we could learn and navigate this world, the faster we could find a solution to our dilemma.

Melinda was still holding onto the possibility of us returning to our old world tightly and somewhere inside of me, I too hoped that the same could be done. But I knew there was a slim chance of us getting out of here in one piece; if in some capacity we did, I'm sure it would take more than a couple of years to find the answer. Melinda was a researcher by heart and she herself knew that some topics needed decades of full evidence before becoming true.

Sometimes I wished she'd focus less on returning and rather just enjoying the moment; I can't even remember the last time we truly rested. We were always working in our old life, our recent trip before the crash was the first time in many months since we got a break together.

But to know and love Mellie was to also understand the way her mind worked. And when she hyper-fixated on something, she would not let it go until he squeezed all she could from it.

"In earlier history, there used to be another Grand Duchy... in fact, there were only two before the abolishment of—." My instructor was cut off when my brother managed to barge into my study, startling the older man greatly.

"Ah! Oh... I greet the Crown Prince of the nation. May Sithik—." My brother cut him off.

"Yeah, yeah... thank you rest easy, Orvar." He waved his hands absently as he turned his attention over to me.

"Is something wrong, akee?" I questioned him.

Tychon shook his head, "Not at all, akeo. But I think your book lessons are finished for today." He stated.

My instructor, Orvar looked over with squinted eyes at the large clock perched on the wall of the study and sighed, "I seem to have gone over my time, my apologizes Prince Kiraz." He said genuinely.
