Melinda

The sweet silence of bliss opens the heart to smiles.

When I soon came to consciousness, I heard the gentle splash of water on the tiled ground and felt something solid behind me. If it wasn't for the gentle humming or the subtle and steady fall and rise of Andrew's familiar chest, I would have stood up intending to kill.

Sharp as ever, my husband, the man behind me, noticed the hitch in my breath and spoke. "Good afternoon turuxh, are you in pain somewhere?"

Pristine white walls with pure gold columns at their corners and linings separating the floor and ceiling from the walls glimmering brightly under the crystalline chandelier above us. We sat on the smaller circle tub at the far corner of the rectangular pool; the water bubbling gently, its warmth unfaltering.

We're in the bathroom. This room was on the lower half of the palace grounds of Paurence, allowing us access to the private gardens to avoid any human interaction with parties of the opposite genders; a commonality in the seven-day consummation ritual.

Like many places located in this particular palace, it was grandiose, not nearly as nice as Kiraz's personal bedroom on the upper levels, but that room would be no more now that we were married. Renovations on the suite we would be sharing as a married couple were still undergoing and would be completed in several weeks, refurbished and decorated to our tastes in the main palace.

There were candles lit a few meters away from us, all of them filling the air with a soft coconut scent. With how much the incense baubles had emitted invigorating scents of amortentia, it's almost foreign to see a regular scented candle.

"What happened before I knocked out?"

I moved to shift my legs, wincing as a sharp ache exploded from my middle, my words dying on my tongue

I moved to shift my legs, wincing as a sharp ache exploded from my middle, my words dying on my tongue. At this, Andrew wrapped his arm around my shoulders and urged me to lie back. I couldn't help but flinch back when his taut muscles and his still-hard member poked my lower back.

"Don't mind that one." He dismissed shyly. "You fell asleep after the last round in the morning. I told you to calm down, but you were insistent. I almost called the doctors when you went unconscious."
