"Hi Captain Rodgers."
"Please Grace your like a niece to me, call me Steve."
I smiled and nodded.
"Feeling out of place?"
"Is it that obvious?"
"Well you are by yourself staring out a window in the middle of a party." He said as I laughed.
"I can't imagine what that must have felt like waking up to a completely different world after all those years, everything you know and everyone you love gone."
"Yeah" He said as he sighed.
"Sorry." I said.
"No you're right it was hard." I looked at him as he continued, "But I got through it."
I gave him a weak smiled as I turned to continue staring at the city lights.

"You miss being at home?"
"Of course I do. New York is my home. I know its weird for me to say after living back in Georgia then California and then New York but something here is different.....it feels like this is where I should be."
"Then why don't you tell your dad you want to be at home?"
"Cause he's still freaked out about what happened three years ago. He won't tell me but I know he thinks I would be safer over there than I would be here with him."
"Look kid I might only know your dad for a few years but something I can definitely tell you without a doubt is that he can't read minds."
I sighed. "You got that right."
"You can't get what you wan't if you don't speak up. But I know you're smart and I know you'll do what's best for you." He patted me on the back and walked away.
A few hours passed and the party was over. It was just me, the avengers, my dad, Rhodey, Maria Hill and Dr. Cho in the living room. Everyone was having a competition on who could lift Thor's hammer cause Thor said only those who are 'worthy' are able to lift the hammer. Everyone tried but no one came close.....except maybe Steve.....I was the only one who noticed that the hammer budged a little. Maybe Thor might have noticed as well but who knows.
